-Thought process in designing some holes. Am I going to act stupid? Answer is yes!
#3/12: Guy #1: "Let's place a pad in the woods over there and make the fairway challenging by making this a flex flick shot!
Guy #2: "Yeah! Let's place the basket over there (literally angled 9 o' clock from the pad). And make a long pad down there (points to the right from where they are standing).
Least they made a decent long pad which is #12. Fun hole to throw a freedom on.
But hole 3 is terrible. The tee-pad is in the woods and have to throw a weird massive flex shot. Basket is hardly in the woods though. Good luck, as you'll be facing the woods at 12 o' clock. And don't even think about going toward 10 o' clock. You'll be stuck in the woods wishing you threw sideways at 9 o' clock. Might as well re-tee, or you'll spend 11 hours pitching out. (I'm kidding)

Hole #5/14:
-Guy #1: Let's make this hole short, and difficult to birdie.
-Guy #2: Yeah! Look at all those trees! Think we should cut them down?"
-Guy #3: "NO! Let's make this a challenge! That's part of the fun!
#5/14: The tee-pads are next to each other and there is no fairway. None. You will hit a tree. And possibly, just possibly find one of the members of my neighbor's AWFUL grunge band sleeping/snoring in one of those trees. (Benny is not liable for your ears excessively bleeding)

High school kid: "Disc golf isn't for me!" (kicks a few trees)

-#7/16: Well, #7 has a nice fairway for most of the hole. But the green is a cluster of trees and you have to throw around many rows.
#16: BLEH! CA-HOUGH!!!! (Passes out). This hole is across the road and plays ON the roundabout you drive past. Hole could also use a good bit of maintenance as there are many bushes to the left side that are ready to eat a good shot.
Guy #1: "Never been done before! Let's make #16 over the road! AND place the tee-pad ON the roundabout!"
Guy #2: Yeah! It's a bigger challenge! That's always good!
Guy #3: "Let's make this hole as annoying as possible! The SKY'S the limit!"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
#11/18:
Guy #3: "I GOT A GREAT IDEA! Massive anhyzer over the trees, and round the road, and into the woods!"
Guy #2: "Most designers in the other regions of NC would make a lane but lets not!"
Guy #1: "We could make a long pad down there (hole is over the road). So it's over the road AND around the road!"

-Nope, we're not done. We are just starting. Open up the red bull! While the grass is cut regularly, the branches are hanging pretty far downward.
-A lot of holes play over roads. #10/17 was a fun hole, so I thought that was justified, but the others, not really.
-It can be extremely hard to navigate. I never found #15. Took me a few minutes to find #7's pad (the sign fell off). Also did a bit of backtracking to get to the next pad.
-I really can't stand the design for #7/16. The fairway is open and then it shuts once you get to the green. Easy par though. And the fairway closing when you get to the green is approximately the sound of a prison cell door slamming.
