A well put together course that is the definition of open.

-Amenities: Grippy rubber teepads that seem to have been replaced at some point. Some tees have stakes with number and distance. DISCatchers. Also, at some point somebody added single chain baskets in shorter positions for every hole, which is a very nice touch that would make the course more accessible to small arms.

-Shot Shaping/Gameplay: For a course without trees, pretty solid. The distances range from 220'-600', so the throws are substantial. There is a bit of elevation that gets used to the full. Several holes are around a driveway that could denote OB areas, adding extra challenge. Especially notable are (2), bounded by a driveway on one side and a property line on the other, the short (4) with a basket in a rock formation, (5) playing over the driveway to a downhill sloping green, and (9), which has the only foliage on the course in the shape of three tree-ish guardian bushes.

-"Friendly": Well kept, hard to lose discs, easy to navigate, quick to play.

-Open: Depending on how you define "tree", this course has literally zero. There are three pieces of guardian foliage near the basket on (9), but otherwise the mown grass is the tallest wildlife out here. I'm incredibly impressed at how interesting Euharlee Road ES is without trees, but it still holds it back severely.

-Kid-Friendly? I don't understand the intention behind the course, because it is way too long for elementary school students, even with the new short baskets. It's a fun place for 300' driver like me to throw, but is that who it's intended for?

-Restricted Hours: School courses aren't available a lot of the time. I was going to list safety as a con because driveways come into play constantly, but then I realized that you can only play when the driveways are empty anyway.

-Marker Decay: The tee markers need a refresh. Many are gone, and others are uprooted.

I almost titled my review, "Literally Zero Trees", but alas, hole (9) has three. So much for the notoriety. Disappointments aside, Euharlee Road ES is a well put together, entirely open course that will provide some interest for medium-length throwers but zero appeal for those who like shaping. I think it's a Passable course, but definitely only for local use.

(1.374 Rating) A nearly completely open layout that will work for school kids and locals to practice their form and to try out new discs.
- QUICK PLAY - GMcAtee and I completed the round in 45 minutes. Figure less than 30 minutes for blind solos.
- CHAINS - DISCatcher baskets in adequate condition.
- DUEL PINS - There is one Instep basket located short of the DISCatcher basket on every hole.
- BEGINNER FRIENDLY - Due to extra short baskets, no overgrowth areas and no water hazards, this would be an ideal course to bring a beginner to. The course is probably also nice for Novice and Recreational players too who want to grip and rip.
- NAVIGATION - No course map or directional cues, yet no worries. It's just so open, that the simple wood tee markers are easy to spot. This makes traversing the course almost effortless.

There really aren't any major flaws with this elementary school course, but the dearth of complexity is so evident that it will have many players bored to death.
- UNIQUENESS - The variety here is among the lower courses that I've scored. Players that enjoy the wooded element of disc golf should stay clear of this course. Seven completely open shots without a tree in play. There are two par 4s, the longest being just shy of 550 feet. So the driver will have to come out for even the longest throwers. There is also some modest elevation in the 15 to 20 foot range on a handful of holes
- NATURAL BEAUTY - Again, one of the lowest courses I've scored. I put in my bottom 10 out of 367 courses played as of this review. Ouch. I'll state again, the course is almost entirely open fields without any trees. There is just no imagination here. I hope the school starts a tree planting program, its desperately needed.
- LACK OF CHALLENGE - The challenge is one-dimensional being all length. I'm not even a big bomber and still shot 25 on this 3000 foot 9 holer. The wind will be the biggest challenge.
- CHARACTER - Other than nice baskets, Euharlee is missing the big ticket items seen at the top courses. The tees are below average rubber mats needing some leveling maintenance and ant poison. No community board or course map on site. No multi-tees or practice basket. There is no tee seating and tee shading is absent.

If I lived in Euharlee, I'd probably be here weekly to practice my game, but I would be constantly planning out of town trips to Atlanta on the weekends. No need for out of area players to venture here unless they're an avid course bagger like myself. For the course's sake, I really hope that new trees get planted.

Euharlee Middle School is about as basic and simple of a course as you'll find. There's no fancy bells or whistles to lure you in and if you're like me, you've probably heard no tales of must play holes and the like. I just heard there was a nine-hole course here and have been wanting to check it off the list. I suspect many others will stumble on the course in much the same way.

Pulling into the parking lot, I had readied myself for a typical short school course. Admittedly, I quickly became a little concerned as about a dozen baskets (some Discatchers and some that appear to be DGA M-14's) are just seemingly peppered around a large wide-open field with no apparent discretion as to their placement. Turns out, there is a method to the madness. The Discatchers are in fact the main course baskets while the more rickety, portable baskets, are in spots that seemed like quasi alternative short placements. If I had to guess, they are probably the original baskets that were replaced by the much more sturdy and dependable Discatchers. Now, with perhaps the idea of retiring them seeming like a waste of baskets, they are placed in such a way to give a shorter alterative for perhaps the new or less skilled students. Earlier reviews made mention of additional golf holes to the listed nine-hole course, but I could find no evidence of that in either signage or logical flow.

Speaking of baskets, the yellow banded Innova set is numbered. Together, along with some decent rubber tee pads and makeshift numbered tee markers, they make it easy to navigate. All but the least familiar with the concept of disc golf will find their way through the course with only a brief look around a time or two (once you find hole one's tee pad anyway).

For a school course, and what you'd assume is the target audience, it has some surprisingly long holes. The 550' hole six is the longest hole while only a third of the holes on the entire course are under 300'. Together, the course is roughly 3100' long, and again, for an elementary school P.E. course, that's a pretty long track by anyone's measure. The course plays pretty much wide open the entire time so while obstacles are not really in play to speak of, length is the opponent for the kids out here. Of course, the course does play around the road and a fenced area so incorporating and designating some out-of-bounds areas could add some challenge. There is some very gradual elevation that comes into play although it's nothing remarkable.

It's worth noting that even in the middle of July, the grass was mown hinting that maintenance is consistent year-round.

This is a good place to practice, especially field work.

There isn't much of a fun factor on the course. Even those that like a more open course rather than woods will certainly grow weary of the steady dose of basic wide-open shots. Let's face it, the course is bland and boring. And for me personally, I just didn't like the vibe of the place. It's has a certain utility or industrial feeling. There's no remarkable or memorable landscaping or natural features to add to the enjoyment of the round. Plus, there is a view of the big power station, plant Bowen, behind the middle school across the street with its looming smokestacks. It reminded me more of the scene from Pink Floyd's album cover, Animals, than a disc golf course with the overall atmosphere.

If you live close, this is probably not a course that will have you longing to come back repeatably. It does have a practical purpose though. I imagine using it as a driving range, throwing at the different baskets around the field. It would be a great place to go on windy days to work on drives in from different directions.

There's nothing extraordinary or outstanding in the way of pros or cons. It's just your basic nine-hole course in an open field with less than top notch amenities.

Chances are, if you don't live close, you are probably only playing here to add another course to your played list. It's off the beaten path but if you find yourself within 30 minutes of the course it's worth a stop if you are on a course bagging quest.

This is a nice addition to the Bartow County area. This course has virtually no shade so be prepared if playing during the warmer months. Compared to other school courses that I have played in the past, the distances are quite long for kids in elementary school and are fair for the casual player. A few of the holes do play close to the driveway. There are temporary baskets out there but not sure what to make of those. Definitely not a destination course but a decent one to bag if you're in the area.

Decent open course, fairly short and beginner friendly. The rubber throw mats are acceptable and a decent size, though not ideal when wet. The main baskets are disc catchers and catch very well and are very standard for PDGA approved baskets.

There are several temporary baskets in place bringing this up to 13 holes. The temporary baskets are not ones i'm familiar with, but are partially damaged and don't add much to the course. Though the ones that were in good shape caught pretty well, and have red powder coating see you can see them far off.

The main positive about this course as it is the only Public course in Bartow County currently.

Fairly short, mostly flat. The extra holes don't add much to the layout. Overall it's not one you're going to drive out of your way to go see. But not a bad one if you just need to practice some shots.

It's nice to have another option during the hours when school is not in in Bartow County, there's not many courses on my way home from work and this one gives me an option. Overall a big thank you to whoever put it in, because it could have been much worse.

This will never be a tournament quality course, but at a school that really isn't the point.

Should be a great place for the kids to get some exercise and learn a new sport.
