This course is a nice place to play if you live in Salt Lake and want an alternative to the U or Creekside courses.
All the pins are light poles in the park with the exception of hole 5 which is a flagpole. The tee for each hole is usually the targets of the previous hole. the Tee for 11 is a red unmarked pole next to the sidwalk. There are signs to guide you through the course on some holes provided you keep your eyes peeled.
The park gets a lot of use so there are times of day when playing is not going to be possible. Weekday mornings are best. Some of the markers are faded and the paint is peeling, but once you hunt them down the layout is really quite easy to follow. Take the time to walk the course out before you play and you will figure it out rather quickly.
I-80 to exit 125. Head north on UT-71/S700 and take a right on Ashton Ave. Follow Ashton to the end and the park will be across the street in front of you. Take a quick left and then a right into the parking lot. First tee is the light pole with green "1" painted on it near the skate park at the end of the parking lot.
