Simple Course In A Busy Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 16, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Hammock Park is a 9 hole course in a small neighborhood park . The parking lot is okay sized for a small local park You want to print a map .There is however a nice shlter near hole 1, tee pad , and a bathroom down near hole #3 tee pad . There are short cement tee pads here with numbered Chainstar baskets . The signage consists of gray poles with what looked like a metal house number on them .Hammock Park seemed mowed and well cared for when I was there , and the park was clean .The neighborhood is nice and the park patrons seemed friendly . The course is flat and can be a fast play , depending on how busy the park is . Course design tried to take away some of the busiest parts of the park and put holes on the edges and woods . Water is in play on holes 7 & 8 on the right , and an elevated basket that sits on a mound on 7 . #6 has a hole you can open up some on ( or 4B ) with a large wide tree in the middle of the fairway No signature holes .

Cons:

#1 Safety . This course is Landlocked . I am pretty sure that there is no way to expand or replace holes . The park must see a lot of local park goers , even on the weekdays . I was here before dusk on a Wednesday , and the park was packed . There were families on a photo shoot with their baby ( right on the side of hole #5 ) , Several dog walkers ( in #6 fairway ) , kids tossing ball near 8 , path walkers near holes 1,2 & 3 . Be careful if you are playing here . You might have a neighborhood riot if you hit a kid with one of your midranges . Hole 9 throws over the parking lot ! Explain that ding to one of the locals ( See riot ) #2 The course itself . I don't think a 9 hole course fits into this scheme , just not enough room . It seemed that everywhere I turned , there were people , and none of them disc golfers . Don't get me wrong . It's a nice little neighborhood park , just not suited for us . #3 Disc Risk : Can be high in places . The high rough on the first few holes and on the sides on the middle holes , coupled with both rough and water on 7 & 8 can lead to some long search and rescue missions for discs .#4 Navigation . I was all over this course trying to find alternate tees , and the basket for 9 . For a short course , it almost a Where's Waldo to find what you are looking for . Also , don't forget to spray down . The bugs can be bad here . Other than climbing up the small mound to retrieve your putt from the basket on #8 , the course is very flat . When you drive into the park , be sure to park on your far right . The left side parked cars are for newbie and local target practice .

Other Thoughts:

Take out or redesign hole 9 , and you have an okay practice course , I guess . I don't understand what type of player this course wants to target . The fairways are so tight in spots , and adding the rough and water , can make for a bad day for the newbie or casual . The course sits away from most travelers , so it is an inconvenient play for them , and seasoned player will not take the drive to play here . I just want to make clear that I like the park , just not as much the course . My Recommendation : Maybe for a family after dinner , or a group of 4 locals that can spot for each other , but other than that , this is a course you can miss .

Fun Quirky Neighborhood Course 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 24, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

A quirky nine-hole course with decent concrete "A" tees and natural "B" tees. The "A" tees are the main attraction here and offer a variety of lengths and hole types. The "B" tees seem to be strewn about randomly and didn't add much to the overall experience. There are tee marker poles with hole #'s on them but no other information. There is a little water to avoid also.

Cons:

There are a lot of dog walkers, hikers, and bicyclists meandering about the course.

There was a powerful odor emanating from the swamp on the perimeter of the course. This may be seasonal though (rainy season).

Other Thoughts:

A quirky fun neighborhood course with enough variety to keep it interesting.

Fairway goes over Parking Lot. That's a new one. 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 24, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

(2.223 Rating) A mostly short and technical layout.
- CHALLENGING - Above average due to the amount of tight lines, Most advanced players should be a couple under. Intermediate players should typically finish a few over.
- RAW BEAUTY - The course in my opinion, is above average when compared to the other courses I've played. (However only average among the Pinellas County courses I've hit as I find the natural beauty of nearby Cliff, Taylor and Tocobaga to all be more picturesque.
- MAINTENANCE - The grounds appear to be mowed weekly. The park was very clean during my visit.
- SHELTER - There are several great shelters with picnic tables located within the middle of the layout. It's perfect for the end of round gathering point and perfect for the summer pop-up thunderstorm.
- QUICK PLAY - A single can easily complete a full 18 in under 75 minutes. Groups of four should finish in under two hours in normal conditions.
- ACEABILITY - Numerous holes are aceable, You will have great opportunities starting with 1 thru 3 and there are several more ace runs as well.

Cons:

Hammock takes a backseat to nearby courses Cliff Stevens and NE Coachman
- 9 BASKETS - Although listed as 18 holes on DGCR, there are only 9 baskets in play. Two tees go to each basket. Most of the back 9 tees are at different angles in addition to a modified distance. The back 9 is generally longer than the front and probably plays two or three throws more difficult.
- SPACING - Below average. The first 9 is spaced out pretty good, however when the second 9 is laid in, it results in many crossing holes. For this reason, several of the fairways feel shared and discs will likely end in other fairways on several holes. In addition, with the additional 9 tee layout, several tee boxes and baskets will be in the path of other holes.
- DUEL USE HAZARD - The park is home to more than disc golf. There are numerous walking paths that the course winds threw. In addition, holes (9/18) are a head scratcher. The path to this basket plays over the parking lot. when I arrived at hole (9) I realized I had to move my car. (9/18) is a fun hole if it can be played, but it probably has to be skipped on occasion when other patrons park their car there.
- UNIQUENESS - The holes themselves in terms variety are slightly below average. Most shots are thru a thick canopy with lanes less than 10 feet wide. Really the only hole to let one rip a bit is (6/15). There are however a few great pocket shots in opposite directions on holes (4/13) and (9/18).
- ELEVATION - Really none to speak of. I know that this is typically for Florida, but this course is flat for even Florida standards. No more than 10 feet elevation change throughout the entire course layout with most it being on 7/16 which has its basket on a mound element.
- TEES AREAS - the course tees are a mix. much of the front is paved but the back is generally dirt/grass. holes are marked by a numbered post only.
- NAVIGATION - There's an adequate map and community board near the first tee. However after this, the pleasantries for navigation ends. Lacking in hole signage and lacking in directional ques to direct you to the next tee. I took a picture of the map and still got turned around a few times.
- OVERGROWTH - Its among the most dense in all of Tampa Bay. Couple that with tight fairways, that you can assume that you'll be doing some search and recovery at some point.
- LOCATION - Course is a trek to get to from the interstate highway system. A good 45 minutes from I275 and the course it tucked deep into a residential neighborhood. GPS directions is a must.

Other Thoughts:

A good course for rec and intermediate players living within 5 miles. Not recommended to out of region players looking to play one or two area courses. In that scenario, consider these area courses instead; Taylor, Picnic, Cliff and Cypress.

Good practice course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 14, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

Pretty course, especially first three holes.
- easy to follow despite a lack of sighnage
- not crowded, only one other player
- tree's provide a challenge
- difficult to lose discs
- A and B tee pads make it an 18 holer

Cons:

- pretty darn short only a couple of holes have any sort of distance
- no sighnage
- watch out for bicyclists and walkers, they exist
- though there's A and B tee pads some B pads are difficult to locate

Other Thoughts:

Good practice course thus the 3 rating. Had to work around a few people enjoying the park, not many players which is good. Played three 9 hole rounds and it only took an hour and a half. It's close enough for me to make it worth it.

Fun little course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 7, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a sleeper course. It's got some woods shots, some field shots, and some elevation.
It now has concrete pads.

It's less crowded than some of the areas more popular courses.

Good course for improving accuracy

Cons:

only 9 baskets.
Following the layout is difficult. I can't imagine playing this course for the first time without a map. If you come here and you don't have a map. Take a pic of the map at pad one with your cell phone....you'll need it.

Not much course signage.

Other Thoughts:

Better than most people give it credit for.

2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 10, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

There are some cool shots here when the course veers away from the field and into the trees. Essentially this means 7 and 8. At under two hundred feet, they are among the shorter holes on the course but they sport cool little lines through the trees and 8 has a nicely raised pins. The narrow tunnel from the alternate pad on 2 is also very cool, and the respite from throwing across the open field and areas populated by park-goers is quite welcome.

There is also a good amount of variety, with the aforementioned tosses through the woods and the long, open shots across the central field of the park. The park seems to be well-kept and the course should appeal greatly to beginners since every hole is either short or open. Really not a bad place for a round, if not one worth traveling to.

Cons:

However, a bunch of holes are fairly boring and unmemorable. With only nine holes, that's unfortunate and, yes, there are really only nine holes. The back nine are just alternate pads. They don't play exactly the same, but I've seen just as much and more variation from eighteen-basket courses that have multiple tee pads without calling them additional holes.

You might even say that there are eight holes, as nine barely counts unless you fancy throwing over people's cars. My car was the only one in the lot so I took the risk, but I wouldn't want to play it if any other cars were there. It's too bad, as it could have been a cool hole with some water to the right and then the basket in a nook that can be reached only with a perfect left-to-right drive. "Other stuff is a problem on some of the other holes too, with buildings in several fairways and paths across most of them. It's not a course that would play well with others using the park.

It's also really hard to find some of the tees. Bring a map or be prepared to download one, because otherwise you probably won't find all nine. Even with a map, the posts can be hard to spot.

Other Thoughts:

This could be a fun course, especially once you know where the tees are, where to park and at what times it will be most playable. But with only a few holes of interest, it's not one I would recommend to visitors looking for a challenging round.

Best bud's home turf 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Aug 3, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

- Not too far off Alt. 19 in north Pinellas.
- The park isn't far off the Pinellas Trail so if you're local you can bike or walk here.
- Close to the coast and just a quick drive from Palm Harbor or Clearwater and a stone's throw from downtown Dunedin which is a really nice area.
- Lots to do in this park; hiking trails, boardwalks, playgrounds, picnic shelters, and even a kayak launch (on the canal by the tee for hole #7).
- There are bathrooms but you have to know where to go (you can get to the other part of the park by crossing the road near the tee for hole #3; they're in the building there, by the playground).
- Not a long course, but also fairly technical; great for shot shaping or learning the hyzer-flip.
- A couple of the holes have enough shape to need a specific fade, so everything isn't a straight tunnel shot.
- Hole #9 has a great green set in a little hole in the brush with total tree cover and thick grass.
- The course is mostly shaded except for the middle couple holes, so the sun isn't oppressive.
- The "official" nine holes now have textured tee pads with great grip and bag racks.
- There is a set of "B" tees marked by concrete posts; no pads and also can be very hard to find (print the map here, it's very accurate).

Cons:

- The course holds water after rain and it can get mucky and super humid.
- Insects here are insane in the summer or when it's wet; have bug spray.
- Hole #9 throws over the parking lot so you have to be careful of cars.
- Lots of walkers use the park so you may have to wait for them occasionally.
- #7 and #8 play along a canal to the right and these holes are very tight; a bad kick to the right means a disc in the canal (it's super shallow so you can get them back but I wouldn't advise it...I've seen snakes in that water).
- No pads for the "B" tees.
- The course definitely went in after the original park layout was finished so there are lots of opportunities for people to get in your way; be patient and courteous. We just wave and most people move so you can play through.

Other Thoughts:

Declaring mando's here can be a lot of fun with the variety of lines and obstacles available (my favorite is through the picnic shelters so long as they're empty). Not a course I'd go out of my way to play, but if you're tooling by on Alt. 19, definitely give it a throw. It's worth it. Others have said it isn't that great, but it's a course. We need more courses. And this one has a quirky little personality, which makes it cool in my book.

Packed With Fun! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 10, 2013 Played the course:once

Pros:

* Good variety of hole lengths from half putter shots to regular drives...
* Has some holes inside the forest/trees that offer great technical lines...
* Two sets of tees offer an effective "back nine" for the course.
* good challenge on basket placement with some on hills or close to water.
* Very good "fun factor" with each shot requiring thought and placement.
* Holes go from open, partially wooded, to extremely wooded, so your brain is always engaged.

Cons:

* Pads are natural, which could be a con to some.
* Holes don't have actual signage, so some of the baskets are hard to find. (just ask a local)
* One shot (9) carries over the parking lot which makes for an interesting hole yes...But can potentially have issues of property or personal damage.
* Many walkers and bikers.

Other Thoughts:

This is a multi use park with hiking, fishing, biking, and a nice playground. As a note, hole one is located in the youth guild area to the left, not in Hammock park proper. When you enter just head to the left parking lot instead of the right. It could be a great day for a DG family with kids. I found the park itself to be very lovely, and am personally enticed to come back for a full day including the other things the park offers. The above "cons" really aren't so bad, and the course itself really is for the thinking person. If you have already played some of the more known courses in the area, why not come here for some fun? The locals were very helpful, and overall it was a very good experience.

Simple, but surprising! 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 11, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Very nice, well maintained neighborhood park rec course.
-Great for beginners, casual, and regular players
-Designed to be a small course, but the layout provides a fun course
-Dual tee's provide an 18 hole round, or a quick 9
-Tee's are natural with a sign posts
-Map available at bulletin board and this site
-Offers a nice variety of tight wooded shots to open field throws
FWIW
-Shelter house
-Biking trail nearby

Cons:

-It's a small rec course, so there's not a lot to complain about
-without a map, it can be difficult to navigate
-One hole is a parking lot carry. (I was praying the group in front of me didn't hit my truck. I wasn't aware I parked in the 9th fairway)
-The other group playing was well in front of me, but if there was more people out it could become a cluster bunch.
-Birthday Parties and Family gatherings are quite common in parks on the weekends. I can see a park like this being unusable if they use the field for a spontaneous softball game.
-In the wooded area: A walking trail in the woods intersects with the DG course, plus there was some sort of Scout sitting area as well. I doubt paths cross all that often, but you may want to look before you throw

Other Thoughts:

This is a small rec course in a neighborhood park. It's not one I would drive out of my way to play, but I found myself having a good time! It is small, but it can have a decent fun factor if you let it. If you have a map, navigation shouldn't be too difficult. If this park was close to where I lived, I'd probably frequent it often. This is not Cliff Stevens, so if you come here just keep that in mind. Some of the holes are very short, so you should walk away with a decent score. I think I played 9 holes here in about 25 minutes by myself, but I found myself enjoying the walk through the park as well.

This is the kind of course where you could take your non-playing friends to play a few rounds. It's not a destination course, so keep that in mind before you drive out here to play. The people that play here are typically the locals that live nearby. I met some players on the course, and they were super nice. They told me when their doubles rounds were, as well as some meetup times at the other bigger courses. So in retro, its small, it's short, and it's a long drive from Tampa. If you are okay with that, then check it out.

Great course! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 10, 2012 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

This course is a lot of fun; and even though I have played every other course in the county, this has become one of my favorites. Although some of the holes are on wide open fields, most are in tight technical woods. Playing here is a bit cerebral... you have to examine the tight woods and look for a window that you can slip your disc through. To pull a good game you will need to pull out all kinds of throws... you will need a highly controlled front and back hand throw to get your disc near the pin as there are some sharp turns left and right. On some holes there is really no other good choice than to throw a big hyzer spike or tomohawk over the tree tops to get close. The natural landscape that some of the holes are located on is almost magical and totally Floridian.

Cons:

At first its hard to get used to no established tee pads; but thats really no big deal; you just play from near the marker. Two holes play over the parking lot; I think thats a bad idea.

Other Thoughts:

Check out this course. Keep an open mind. If your a big arm with no finesse game this course will frustrate you... that's no reason not to play it; there are lessons to be learned here. If you think it out and use the force you will have a great time here.

Not as relaxing as a Hammock 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 1, 2012 Played the course:once

Pros:

1) Signs have Distance Hole Tee Location (A and B) are more of just a pole but they do the trick.

2) Some interesting shots which was surprising because when you walk into the park it does not look like much at all.

3) Baskets are in decent condition.

4) There is actually a really nice variety of foliage density here ranging from wide open, to somewhat wooded, to tight tunnels. There also is a variety of the type of trees/plants that create the holes fairways which is nice to see.

5) Water is in play on a couple of the holes.

6) Distance variation is pretty good on each 9 and overall for the 18 different shots.

7) Interesting basket locations on a couple of holes make this course worth playing.

8) The lawn seems to be mowed well, the wooded holes seem fairly clean, and the overall maintenance seems to be just fine.

9) Relatively beginner friendly but still has some challenges too.

Cons:

1) The layout of the A and B positions can create bottlenecks with other park users . . . fairways definitely cross and the walks between holes can also be very confusing so it is pretty dangerous if there are other disc golfers in the park.

2) I can imagine the safety will be an issue if it hasn't been already. One hole you throw over a picnic area/rain shelter. One hole you throw directly up a walking path. #9 throws over the parking lot/cul-de-sac.

3) Confusing routing depending on what tees you are playing.

4) Natural teepads are terrible and
rutted out. Fortunately the soil is sandy otherwise they would be completely muddy.

5) No signs to help you figure out where the baskets are for the hole . . . you have to guess based on the direction of the wear pattern on the tee. There are also too many basket visible from a couple of those inner holes to really know for sure which way you are headed.

Other Thoughts:

I enjoyed most of these holes from a strictly disc golf standpoint but when I take into account the routing, safety, and general things the course drops dramatically in my mind. I am thrilled I played it when there was only one other group of people playing and only one bystander. I was concerned I was going to have to ask the guy to move like 5 times though so I often times just threw around him rather than yelling and asking him to move. If there were other disc golfers here this would be a nightmare and there would be serious issues. Like I said however, the throws are great for the most part, only a couple boring shots. The variety was also pretty good for such a small property. I lost one of my longtime favorite drivers here . . .yellow Pro Starfire (SL). I overshot #8 to the left and it ended up underneath whatever water pipe runs down that channel. I tried to get it with a stick but I wasn't willing to go much further to try and retrieve it . . . not knowing if it was a gator filled area.

Huge Waste of Time 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Dec 28, 2011 Played the course:once

Pros:

Baskets - They have baskets.

Alternate fairways - The back 9 has SOME holes where you shoot at the basket from completely different angles making those few holes feel very different than the front 9.

Cons:

Layout - This course looks like drunk 4 year old designed it. If you look at a map, you can see fairways crossing each other. The "tee pads" for some holes are in the fairway of other holes. The course is a 9 hole course with alternate "tee pads."

Direction - I had no idea where I was going half the time. I had a map of the course and I still had are hard time figuring my way around.

Holes 1/10, 2/11, 3/12 - The first 3 holes are a joke; they are through the woods with barely any fairway windows. There are trees everywhere on those holes. It seems like they ran out of room when designing this course and randomly put them here.

Hole 9 - This hole was terrible. The fairway is tiny surrounded by the "parking lot" and little creek.

Variety - There was barely any variety. I never pulled out my drivers, I only played with midranges and putters.

Parking Lot - There was no parking here. I was told that where ever I park, my car was likely to get hit.

Pads - The course didn't have any tee pads, it was just dirt holes.

Other Thoughts:

My friend and I could really only play the front 9 holes. We were bored by hole 6. This is the worse course I've ever played. I went there just because I want to play all the courses in the area. But it honestly looks like they saw a plot of land, closed their eyes and started planning. If you are even a mildly decent disc golfer, do not go here. It isn't worth the gas it would take to drive there.

Very technical, almost like a motocross track in some spots. Very different natural environment from my home course in the mountains, which might be why I liked it. Water comes into play. Has a couple long holes, too. #6 has a big, low tree that creates a great target for your drive. If you get it through the tree, you're sitting pretty.

Cons:

AN EXCELLENT COURSE!! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 24, 2011 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This course is compact, so you won't have to do alot of walking. Can finish 18 holes in an hour. It offers a variety of different challenges, from open 350' bombs, to 140'-175' control shots through difficult throwing lanes at times.
Located close to 2 other courses, so you can make a day of it, Clearwater area courses are Ken Climo's stomping grounds!!

Cons:

During the summer months the mosquitos can get a bit unruly, may want to have a can of OFF deep woods or the like.
Could also use a front restroom facility near the parking area, instead of walking to hole 3, but if you're a guy there are plenty of woods.

Other Thoughts:

At first I didnt think all that highly of this course, but its one of those courses that grows on you for sure! Being an event coordinator for this course, improvements are steadily bringing this course up to par with its neighboring courses of Cliff Stephens & Coachman Park. I believe the negative reviews of this course are obviously from 1 or 2-time players here, who dont like technical courses.
With the new alternate tee pads, recent landscaping, & a club in the works, this course is one of my favorites, of the 12 or so I've played. If you like technical courses this one's for you!

Quiet, clean course. They have installed a frequency generating device which eliminates bugs. This is a REAL bonus. Plenty of shaded area to beat the heat, and the course is laid out so that you have a variety of shots. Particularly liked holes 3, 5, and 7.

Cons:

Update: (6/19/2011): Course has been expanded to 18 holes by way of using alternate tees for existing 9 hole course. Add's some variety, but nothing earth shattering. Allows you to mix it up if you're tired of the existing 9, or you can play a full 18. I personally only used the more difficult tee's and played about 12 holes total.

Pros:

the last 3 holes would be welcome on most any DGC.
# 7 was very cool as it had a few tight holes that one needed to thread in order to have their drive near vallet parking area. I also love the 2 10" plus mounds of soil that was present in the fairway.

# 9 was another cool hole as you drove down a narrow fairway with a small channel of water near the turn of the dogleg. The basket was tucked deep past the turn and behind a large tree.

Kiosk with a map of the course present near hole # 1.

Cool oak trees, as branches we're almost like ground cover.

Nice neighborhood. And within walking distance of Saint Andrews Links DGC.

Cons:

First 3 holes needed cleaned out more as the other reviewer have stated, a disc can be easily lost on a shot within 20 ' of the basket

Other Thoughts:

It's rare to find a "9" hole DGC this challenging. Abeit the last 3 holes. With a little pruning this "9" holer could be a real gem.

Passable Little Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jan 6, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

Quaint little course in a nature preserve type park. There is a very good map that is posted on the announcement board near the first tee. It is the same map that is linked on this site. I had the map page up on my iPhone during the round and it helped immensely. The baskets are in good shape.

Cons:

There is no defined tee area for any hole. There is a post with each tee number, but the actual tee area is a bit nebulous. The map shows distances for two tee locations, but I couldn't find any real markings for the closer position. The first three holes are in some serious vegetation.

Other Thoughts:

In spite of the earlier reviews, which are more than 4 years old, I enjoyed my round at this course. I parked in a different parking lot by the baseball fields so I had a very long walk to through the nature preserve to get to the course. There is a parking lot right by the course, you just have to find it. Once I got to the park, it took me a little while to figure out the first couple of holes. The basket for #1 is not marked and it is so close to the tee that I had a hard time believing that it was really hole #1. The hole can't be more than 150 feet. Even though it was very short with the basket visible, I lost my disc not more than 20 feet from the hole. There is a lot of vegetation around it. Hole #2 is just as treacherous and woodsy. There is really no window, just a shot through or around a lot of overgrowth with hazards on each side. I spent about 15 minutes looking for my tee shot in spite of the fact that I knew exactly where it landed. Hole #3 is also in the woods, but there is a very narrow window to shoot through. The basket is in the middle of an outdoor amphitheatre. Hole #4 and the rest of the course is out in the open area of the park and much more enjoyable. Holes 4-9 offer some good variety and challenge without the risk of losing a disc. Hole #7 was my favorite. It is a woodsy type tee shot to the basket on a 10 foot tall mound. There are at least three good paths to the hole with good risk/reward for each. Hole #9 is also a challenge with the tee shot heading into the parking lot. I'm not sure if the local rules play the paved parking lot as out of bounds or not, but if it is, there is a very small landing area before the approach shot heads into the woods. It would take a very long anny shot to make it to the hole.

The course was getting a lot of use on the day I was there with at least five groups of golfers on the course. Now that I know that layout, subsequent rounds will be even more enjoyable. The course is lacking the basics and amenities that would allow it to get a higher rating and I was torn between 1.5 and 2, but the variety of shots and the park itself lead me to give it the benefit of the doubt and go with the 2 discs.

This is not a disc golf course 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Feb 8, 2006 Played the course:once

Pros:

Good place to practice if you live close.

Cons:

The "course" is not navigatable without a local or wandering around for a long time. There is heavy schule near most of the baskets that can easily result in lost discs for beginners.

Definitely not room for a disc golf course at this location. It shouldn't have gone in the ground.

Other Thoughts:

Don't be a dirty discer. Leave the course cleaner than you found it!
