Pros:
- Will be the only disc golfer here
- Rolling hills on a golf course so rollers are in play
- Lots of potential for expansion
- Good elevation, downhill throws are fun
- Lots of safari options
Cons:
- Only 4 baskets
- Really open course, few obstacles
- Only open a few months a year
- It's out in the middle of nowhere where I live outside of town
Other Thoughts:
No one knows this course exists, like besides me adding it here this isn't posted anywhere, not even Udisc. The only reason I know this exists is because I live less than a 10 minute walk from it and I'm a member of the country club.
The course plays through the executive course (all par 3 golf course) which is on your right as you drive up the road to the country club. You don't need to be a member of the club to play the course and it's free to play but if you want to use the facilities or get some food after you do have to be a member which is worth it for the dining option IMO.
I'm hoping they want to expand this in the coming years and hopefully I can be a part of the design team for this place. As is it's a quick play for the course baggers but also one of the worst options in Idaho Falls. If you want to play a more serious course you should drive closer into town and play Freeman park.
If you're planning on playing any courses in Idaho Falls, I am willing to guide you here or any of our courses, jut send me a message here.
