Pros:
Indian Woods is your typical example of baskets in a field, but it doesn't play around in a circle like some other school courses; there's actually a route to follow. Baskets are numbered, so you'll have a pretty good idea of where you'll be throwing.
Most holes are over 300 feet, which is pretty nice. Three holes play alongside a football field, so you can somewhat tell how far you are throwing.
Roads and fences create a little spicy challenge on the later holes, though they're pretty easy to avoid.
Cons:
While I like the distance, there's not much to go along with it. There are about two trees on the entire course, and the only way to get more in play would also bring people's cars in danger.
Holes 3 and 4, playing back and forth between the football field and a road, are a bit odd. At least there's a tree over there that will probably fail to block any discs.
The distance is also a con. Who is this course designed for? If you can throw 330 feet, you probably want some obstacles in the way to keep the round interesting, but this course has none of that. It's just long and open hole after long and open hole, and that's it. Now, if you have that distance and are working on accuracy, then by all means, this may be a good place to practice. But I think that's the minority of players.
Other Thoughts:
I'll never complain when nine decent baskets are put in a place that doesn't create safety concerns, but this course leaves a lot to be desired. Not a bad place for students who just want to mess around, or for baggers as well, but that's about it.
There's room to plant a few trees, on the holes that are far enough away from other ball fields, though that would push drives farther out on 2 and 5. 8 and 9 are the main holes to be improved, I think.
