Pros:
This course is a little 9 hole gem in the Hill Country. Set on the grounds of Iron Wolf Distillery, the people are very nice. Jenna was very helpful. You don't have to pay or have to buy anything. Very pleasant place. The baskets are new, and the fairways are kept mowed. Grass tee boxes are clearly marked. Signage is great. I had no problem finding the next tee. The holes are good length, with several birdie ops. There is an out of bounds road way and a fence that adds some challenge. Trees are used well. It is a tight course. If you live nearby or are visiting the Hill Country (as I am) then you'll enjoy the walk and the challenge.
Cons:
It is a 9 hole only, and the times to play are limited. First time thru you'll need to walk up to see where the basket is a few times. No water and no dramatic hilltops or ravines.
Other Thoughts:
All in all, a nice course, in a pretty part of the Hill Country. If you enjoy spirits, then you can sit and sample after your round. They have quite the operation going, all visible to the patrons. very cool.
