Pros:
Nice concrete tee pads throughout. All baskets in good condition except for # 1 which was standing but with basket on the ground. A couple of the tee signs were down or missing, but the course was relatively easy to follow. Finding my way into the park might have been a problem if I wasn't playing with a local Disc Golfer (thanks Dale). Good variety of holes with great usage of available terrain. Seemed to me to be some fairly long drives involved.
Cons:
I can see this park being used a lot more in better weather, which might make play difficult. Lots of mud, even though the ponds were showing low water lines. Very challenging for a first timer and even for a steady player.
Other Thoughts:
This course is very deceptive. Looks like a nice easy par happy little 9 hole by the side of the road, but not so! This course kicked my butt, (only one par all night) ate two of my discs (hole # 5, and hole # 7), and almost ate another on # 7. I would play it again - hopefully with some idea of the course, I could drop a few strokes. Bring some beat up discs to throw over the water. # 5 to me is the signature hole on this course, thrrowing over the pond to a "peninsula". Overthrow, underthrow or go left, and your disc is lost. # 6 is pretty cool also, going over the pond and then over another little pond (or marsh) on the far side. If you're looking for a challenging 9 hole - this is it
