Pros:
- surprisingly few pros for such a pretty park, go anyway at least once because the park is really nice
- dense, spongy grass and gentle slopes , great for rollers
- the locals have made a longer course using existing tees and baskets, next time we'll ask to play with them
- convenient location near 605 fwy
Cons:
- course markers are all defaced and two are just a pole, it would be hard to play without knowing the course -- see notes below on how to play the standard course
- short concrete tees, many with mud puddles in front, back, or both
- not many obstacles, par should be 2 pro 3 am

How to play this course:
Enter the park on Studebaker Rd, and then drive all the way to the north end of the parking lot. The first tee is to the east of the group picnic area "Camp Liberty."
First, second and third tees and baskets are farily obvious. The holes are all short. The fourth tee is missing its sign: from the 3rd basket, look east (away from the riverbed) and you'll see the concrete tee pad and a pole sticking up about 4'. Shoot that hole to the south, toward the running track. Tees 5, 6, 7, and 8 are all defaced but they are easy to find.
Tee 9 is also a concrete pad and post, look for it to the north of 8. Basket 9 is to the east of the tee.
Liberty is a really nice park though its DG course isn't first-rate. This would be a great venue for a company or family picnic (that of course includes DG). There are nice soccer fields, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, and a padded 1/4 mile running track that's part of the park's city-run fitness center. Picnic facilities for families are first-rate including nice barbeque pits. So come to Liberty to enjoy the park, and get in a round of DG while you're at it.
Also, as mentioned above, the locals have made up their own, longer vcourse out of existing tees and baskets. We'll ask to play with them next time, or at least for the skinny on the course. Those folks could really huck a disc.
