Pros:
18 holes, nice (if old) baskets. Tougher than advertised course. Maps at the General Store, along with disc rentals and all sorts of drinks and snacks. Unique experience.
Cons:
No tee boxes or signs. Hard to navigate hole to hole even with the map. Although the map does help, without it, forget about it! On the wooded holes no clean fairways, nearly a chuck and pray for luck design.
Other Thoughts:
This course is far harder than described. The elevation that you walk is quite the experience. For a course spread out on a ski slope I did find it a fair mix of wooded and open holes. The open holes criss crossed the open slopes to find the baskets hidden in the woods edge. That was fun. Now the wooded holes, nestled in between the slopes, were just that WOODED. No clear fairways to attempt to throw. Be warned! Be in good shape! This course will take a lot out of you as you climb higher and higher before the down slope of the last three or so holes. You youngsters should have no problem, but us old timers need to be prepared. I would have ranked this course a 2, but gave it the 2.5 just for the creativity required to create a ski slope course and for the toughness of the hike. How families of vacationing beginner disc golfers play on this course boggles the mind. I saw groups that couldn't throw a flick playing all around me. It must have taken them all day to finish, but the point of the game is they were having fun and they sure were. That alone is worth the extra .5.
