Pros:
The course has a bucket of used discs at the start of Hole 1 for new players to borrow (to be returned when done). Nice scorecards and pencils are also available at Hole 1. Scorecard makes the course easy to navigate as it includes a layout of the course. Each hole is marked with a wooden post that shows the Hole number, par, and distance for the hole. The course has some nice elevation. Hole 1 is an uphill shot ending in the woods. Hole 7 is an uphill shot through the woods. Hole 8 is my favorite, you drive from the top of a hill, across a wooded gully, to the top of the neighboring hill. There are a good mix of wooded vs. more open holes. Good variety of shots can be practiced while playing a round. Course is also good for beginners as the holes are not super long.
Cons:
Dirt tee pads. Course winds it's way too close to many other areas of the park. Hole 4 has you driving next to a playground. Hole 6 has you driving through two rows of parked boats/boat trailers. A couple other holes are fairly close to some other activities.
Other Thoughts:
This course is in a camping resort mainly used for fishing. The disc golf course was added for additional things to do while there. It's a nice play if you are already camping there. Not something to drive out of your way for. Course has good variety and would be better if there was more of a buffer between it and the other park activities. For an additional challenge, each basket has a golf hole near it's base so you can try out a round of "Tennis Golf". Golf clubs can be borrowed from the mini-golf course (including drives, wedges, and putters).
