Pros:
Decent Prodigy baskets
Short and long tee positions
Cons:
Carpet tee pads are rough
Other Thoughts:
This is what you would expect for a little 9 hole course. Just enough tree's to make it interesting. A pond that comes into play. Park fence OB that can come into play.
Parking is on the grass next to the road. Hole 1 is right by the fence with a long and short tee. I played the longs and was able to reach most of the holes with my noodle arm. (my max distance is about 350 on a good day)
Hole one is mostly open with a few tree's to navigate near the basket.
Hole 2 and 3 throw along the fence lines and do have a nice fairways with trees on the left and a couple along the fence on the Right.
Hole 4 is very similar but is more open with the basket in the wide open.
Then you got hole 5 with the fence on the right and the pond on the left. This is a VERY narrow fairway with the basket past the pond in a more open area.
Hole 6 is a run of the mill hole. I should not I posted a picture of a "Love tree" Where one tree is growing around a different kind of tree. This is the tree the basket is under. You do have the fence line to the right. The pond is to the left, but it's guarded by rough.
Hole 7 long tee is classic raised and over the pond. But there are a couple of short pine trees on the other side of the pond, as long as you clear those, it's a totally clear shot to the basket.
Then kind of stuck in the rest of the park is hole 8. You do have the playground to the left but it's mostly an open shot to the basket.
it's almost the same for hole 9, it a long hole, has a couple of palm tree's in front of the basket, otherwise is all open but does have some length to it.
In general, this is a nice little course, it's what you would expect for a 9 holer. It's not exactly rec friendly with hole 5 going so close to the fence and pond, but the rest of the course is good.
Oh, it was a Thursday evening when I played, apparently league was starting as I was finishing up. I was invited to play, but had touristy things on my agenda.
Would I play here again? Yea, if I was in the area I would play this one again. It gives you a Florida/island vibe but isn't too hard or too easy.
