Pros:
-Large cement tee pads
-DGA baskets
-Variety of shots
-Trees may come into play, but can also be avoided
-Mix of medium (~250 ft) and a few longer (~330 ft) holes
-Flat, little chance of losing a disc
-Conveniently next to Highway 99
-Ample parking along frontage road if park gates are closed, easy access over low railing
-Once you start, most of the next tees are easy to see from the previous basket, and it flows fairly well
Cons:
-Placement of a few holes requires driving over or near picnic tables (not an issue if park is empty)
-Bathrooms were closed, but port-a-potties were open
-If there were other visitors to the park, this would be a tough course to play, since much of it plays through areas with picnic tables or areas that might otherwise be utilized by park goers
-No tee signs
-Tees not numbered
Other Thoughts:
-Not the most scenic area, but someone put in the work on the tees and baskets, and I appreciate the effort
-No OB was indicated, but given some of the roads, paths, bollards, etc. one could make this a tougher course by adding OB or mandatories
-I would not likely come here just to play the course again, but if I was headed north bound on Highway 99 during the week, it would be a very easy stop, stretch the legs, and play a quick 9 holes (20 min or less).
