Pros:
Prescott High School DGC is a nine hole course that wraps around the east and north side of the school. There's some slight elevation in play on the first five holes with the last four holes being more flat. A couple trees are in play on some holes with the exception of hole 7 which is definitely the signature hole. That one is a tunnel shot with a row of trees lining each side of the fairway. Basically a BRP hole 4 type of hole.
The baskets are older Mach's. These are all in good shape and catch just fine. One basket and pin position per hole.
The design is pretty well done for the land they had available to them. There's only so much you could do with the property and I feel like it's used pretty well actually.
Cons:
No tee pads or signs. Navigation is impossible without a map. There's no way to tell where you're supposed to start and there's a few longer unintuitive walks between holes. Tee signs would go a long ways out here.
Hole 1 has you throwing from the eastern parking lot and over a fence to a basket on a hillside. I'm guessing that the fence wasn't there when the course was installed. It'd make more sense to move the "tee" location south now. Which can easily be done since there's no actual tees anyways.
Hole 4 plays right along the edge of the baseball field fences so it'd be a bit sketchy to play if the field was in use.
Not available during school hours which limits it's availability.
Other Thoughts:
This ones a pretty typical WI school course. Or really a school course in general. A bunch of random baskets scattered around the grounds with no way to identify what the hell is happening. If you have a map you can see why it was installed this way though and it's alright. This is a one and done type of course.
