Pros:
• Easy to find
• Pretty easy to navigate - Map on #1 tee
• Nice new baskets
• I suppose you can use #8 as a warm-up basket
Cons:
• Tees are currently just cleared dirt
• I didn't see a restroom or water but I also didn't walk all the way over to the community center nearby.
• Wind
• Sticker bushes
• Wind
• Sticker bushes
• Wind and sticker bushes

Tips:
• When you come into the parking lot, go all the way left and you'll see #8 basket. Park anywhere around there and head up the walkway to a set of stairs. Go up the stairs and walk a bit and you'll see a trail info sign on the right. Look left and you should see #1 and the map on a stick. Take a picture of it.
• Tees are currently marked with ~4 ft. sticks in the ground
• Bring a spotter
• For #7, aim just right and below of the Wolverines sign across the street and let fly.
Random Thoughts:
It's always tough to review courses that aren't done yet. It's also tough to be critical when I fully understand and appreciate the work that goes into these courses. With that said...here are my thoughts.
Prewett Park is a 9-hole course built on the side of a decent-sized hill. Only 1 hole (#7) is what I would call long and by the pictures on this site, you might be thinking that this is an easy chip and putt style course, but alas, the pictures will not prepare you for the two main challenges of this course. The first challenge you'll note is the wind. I can't say for sure if the wind always blows out here but having lived in the area for 20+ years, that would not shock me at all, particularly late in the day. When I was there, it was gusting at a good 15-20 MPH clip, and because you are criss-crossing the hill a bit, it will demand a few different shots to land where you want and land safely. Now it's that last word ("safely") where this course falls flat for me. I don't mind wind as a challenge. It's not my favorite thing about the sport, but I like a challenge. The challenge at this course, and I would venture to say 'problem', are the immense amount of sticker bushes all over the course. I believe my first thought when I walked up and looked around was 'Holy sh!t, this is going to be painful'. I cannot overstate how dense and voluminous these buggers are. Now, I did see and GREATLY appreciate that some clearing has occurred around the baskets and in the 'fairways' just in front of the baskets, but if you don't land there, pain. Very quickly my approach to this course went from 'try to put the disc in the basket' to 'try to land the disc where I can see it and not bleed getting it'. Again, this is not that difficult if the wind isn't blowing, but the wind be blowing, so good luck trying to hit those clear spots. I hit maybe 50% of them and was just thrilled that I could find my disc. I highly recommend a spotter. Even #7, which is a very nice 'top of the world' style shot, I thought I could relax a little and not worry about where my disc landed because it seems fairly open and you're so high up. Wrong. My disc still disappeared into the brush it landed in. Fortunately, I had some environmental markers nearby to assist. But again, do not just fire and forget. Be smart and park your disc where you can see and find it.
Bottom Line:
This is still a new course so there's still hope for improvement. I'm thrilled that a course is in the area and if the wind isn't blowing too hard, a good time can probably be had out here, but for me, I'm not coming back until the sticker bushes are considerably more cleared out than they are now. Maybe a gofundme for a combine harvester is in order. You'd certainly get some $ out of me. Good luck.
