Pros:
a) Biggest pro, hands down, is that this is a island in the middle of a lake dedicated to disc golf. It honestly doesn't get much cooler than that. The only other thing this island has is a few walking paths but they don't interfere too much with the course.
b) Course was very challenging and fun for the most part.
Cons:
a) 9 of the 12 holes are blind shots. The only tees where you can see the basket are 8,9, and 11. I personally don't like blind shots at all, so this was a big con. Having to run up and see where the basket is and then go back for 75% of the tee-offs was a waste of time. A few blind shots are totally fine, but definitely not the majority of the course. Not to mention that when you look at the pictures I uploaded here, you have no idea what's really going on, so it's kind of a shame.
b) Super thick rough! Holy cow, I am strongly advising not taking risky shots because the rough here is outrageous! My disc went about 1 foot into the weeds and it took 15 minutes to find it. Play the safe route and don't do anything stupid!!
c) Instead of designing it to have all these blind shots, they should have expanded farther to the north where the prairie is and made some open holes. Definitely a great idea for the future, anyway!
Other Thoughts:
This course is worth going to solely for the fact that's it's on a disc golf exclusive island. There's a bus that will take you here directly from the train station (616, I believe), but if not walking 3 kilometers to the course isn't out of the question (it's what we did).
