Pros:
-Shot shaping is definitely the name of the game in this course with each hole making you choose your path wisely.
-Holes make use of the terrain, woods, & small creek to up the difficulty level
-Tee pads are concrete but on the small side.
-Layout progresses in a rational path but next tee signs would help
-Tee signs at each hole with a map, distance, & basket location
Cons:
-The road comes into play on a few early holes and you start out in the park, so you need to be aware of possible cars or other park goers.
-The tee pad size usually isn't much of a factor but on a few holes I felt I needed a couple more feet for a decent approach.
-Since its a new course the brush, roots, & misc debris are still prevalent but will be smoothed down with more use I'm sure.
-As you get into the woods a few holes play back to back, with an opportunity for crossover.
-Hole 17, the only par 4 has a tight angle dog leg back to the right, that seems like a 90 degree angle from the tee sign
Other Thoughts:
In a park this size you usually find lay-up courses that are beginner friendly & don't offer much of a challenge. This one however breaks the mold & manages to throw in a high degree of difficulty that you really don't expect.
Not one that I'd travel far for but worth a look if you're in the area.
