Cons:
Nine baskets installed along a pre-existing "nature walk" - a path that loops around in a wooded portion of the larger township park (access next to the basketball court). Like many short nature walks, the path winds around quite a bit, with small loops and blind turns between 90 and almost 180 degrees every 75 feet or so.
The baskets are decent enough DGA's, but the teeing areas are marked by 2x4 wood frames that are hardly wide enough to stand in. Some of them have been overgrown by encroaching woods or lost to time. Wooden signage shows distance in yards, and a few signs are missing.
Other Thoughts:
WHO THOUGHT THAT HAVING PEOPLE THROWING DISCS DOWN A NARROW WALKING TRAIL WAS A GOOD IDEA?
Not a disc golf course. Not even a pitch and putt, because you're tossing it short to make it around the ridiculous corners. It reminded me of playing minigolf at the shore, but you don't have the advantage of backboards to bounce your shots off.
If you show up with the right attitude and there's nobody to hit with your throws, this could be a fun 20 minute bagging stop. For example, Hole #6 is a hilariously winding 230' par 5. Doink, Doink, Doink, Doink, Putt. Or: Throw through the woods twice. Putt. Eagle!
