Pros:
-Great Views
-Minimally played so there's no waiting
-hot chicks working at the resort/gondola! (at least when I was there)
-Provides a serious opportunity to work on your down hill game for 18 straight holes
-quality baskets
-great variety of shots
-riding a gondola is always sweet!
-one is able to grip 'em and rip 'em on several open yet well defined fairways
-plenty of lost discs are to be found even if you lose your own
-Food and micro-brews available at the resort when you finish
Cons:
-The pads are loose gravel, thus making footing a sizable challenge
-wind is a factor at 6,000ft elevation
-tight fairways with steep drop offs make spotters almost mandatory if you're having an off game
-bald-faced hornets and biting horseflies are present and become enamored with you if you find yourself looking for your disc in the trees
-$16.00 entrance fee
Other Thoughts:
Ridiculously great scenery of the cascade crest on some holes mixed with great old growth hemlock/fir forest as the course setting. The course would definitely get a better rating if the pads were concrete. You'd think with the $16 entrance fee they could afford them...The plethora of camping, fishing, backpacking, and other activities available nearby also help make it worth it to drive all the way out into the boonies to play a round or two.
