Review by biggio1 in course North Town

3.50 star(s) I love wooded courses and this one has some trees. Lot's of Birdies available but you can easily shoot big. The tee pads are not great. Watch for snakes in the creek. I've seen 2 big ones. There is a nice shaded Dog park at the park entrance.

Review by biggio1 in course Schlather Park

3.00 star(s) Great use of the park. Good distance and some great hole locations Tee signs don't show pin placements. The mosquitoes were extremely bad due to the marsh and there were 5-6 holes without baskets. Hope they were not taken.

Review by biggio1 in course South Concho Park

3.50 star(s) First off, Awesome job San Angelo for another new course and most challenging course yet. Not a heavily used park at all which will make for safe play as well as quicker play. A very good use of the land provided. I do hope to see hole 3 a Par 4 some day soon? But long holes, short holes...

Review by biggio1 in course Cactus Patch DGC

3.00 star(s) This course is short but by all means not easy. It has some very tight shots and a very beautiful hole #8. Good use of long and short grass for ruff and fairways. Many benches and well marked tee pads make this course a pleasure. Many birdie ops if you hit your line and several of the holes...

Yes there are plans, just not sure of the time table. I agree that it is a very hard course but also it is beautiful and super fun. Get out and play it.

anyone know anything about these new courses by John Houck

Well John, it is a tight one, but I almost aced #2 today, skipped right in front of the basket, chain high. As for 5 and 9, I would say that they are playable but tough. 9 is the hardest hole out there and is the only one that might need a tree or a few taken out. 5 is awesome and just needs...

anyone know anything about these new courses by John Houck

So I played 6, 7, and 8 on Sat. and it was nice. I'm going to go back out the last week in March and play the whole thing. I skipped one off 7's basket, just 6 inches more. Nice job John, another beautiful course.

    Pease Park, Austin Texas

I understand what they are saying, but come on. It is bad but that is because the drought is Crazy bad. Bla Bla Bla, green green green, I'm all for it until it comes to shutting down one of the best and most played disc golf courses in TX, maybe in the US. I love Austin, been here a year now...

Review by biggio1 in course Old Settlers' Park - Old Layout

3.00 star(s) Sigh Low traffic, wind, water, and some elevation. Concrete tees are nice because you got some long throws. Go watch a AAA baseball game after your round and drink some beer! Distance is either a con or a pro, and I say both. I had a hard time finding the first tee, because the park is HUGE...
