Hey Bobby, sorry about getting to you so late. I drove by Lazarre today, and, unfortunately, the park itself is still closed. The water has receded a tad, but there are still a number of pads, fairways, and pins under water.
Chennault is the only location with decent disc golf near Lazarre. It's a pretty standard set of courses. 15 minute max drive from Lazarre. Good news is, as of last weekend, they've added new tee signs to the green course, so it's a little easier to navigate for visitors.
My fiance and I will mostly likely be out there Sunday around noon. We'd be more than happy to show you around.
If you aren't looking for average disc golf, and you made the trip just for it, I'd recommend going to Lake Claiborne and playing one of the courses there. Truely some of the best disc golf in the country out there. It's a long walk. As someone who drinks a lot fluid, I'd recommend stocking up. Please let me know if you have any more questions! Have a safe trip either way!
