Yeah I would get the one from cosco but I don't have a membership there. I've been looking around to see if there's anything else around the same price or if any other stores carry that basket at similar price.
Parks I'm in your boat with my index being a fair amount shorter than my middle finger. Coming from a baseball background forehand has always been my furthest form being able to reach close to 500'.
I do have small hands and gripping backhand proves to be a stretch with drivers. I can throw...
I have been wanting to replace my fuse which is horribly beat in to the point of useless under 8000' of elevation. So there was a disc dealer at my local course today and asked for a recommendation since they didn't have any mystics yet. He told me the to buzz would have a little flip when...
The beginning of the year I decided I wanted a viable backhand drive. I have always been a RHFH driver for long distance but have a hard time scaling it down for shorter holes. Using a three finger grip also helped a lot until I was ready to power grip my drives.
On that same notion driving...
I subscribe to the 2 or 3 calls and if I don't get a response in a week or two ill consider it mine. On the same token if someone I run into has a disc I lost that week I'd expect it back.
This week I played a course I rarely get out to. I played with a guy that after learned my name was rob...
I feel similar in my RHBH drives. I feel like I'm strong arming the disc. I can drive with certain discs out to 400' but other discs (mostly in champion plastic) really don't fly in the path they should. I have a F2 leopard that will not turn for the life of me.
When I say new I'm not talking first steps on a DG course new. Right out if the box I introduce backhand not forehand. I pull out a putter and play catch and point out little things like nose angle. I may even introduce a grip I use similar to a bonopane which I believe helps teach nose down...
You're kinda missing my point. For myself when I was a new player a katana was a good disc for me to learn my form with due to my background in throwing sports. Obviously not every new player will be there. But every new player is different was my point. Some will be better suited throwing an...
While yes Wyno says a couple good points I disagree about the clubbing down. Generally a new player starts with a slower disc not only for accuracy and form sake. But because at their current play level that is all they can throw on an intended path. Personally as a RHFH thrower with an athletic...
I consider myself to be a pretty good distance forehand thrower. I can put a boss or katana out about 500'. I used to get a lot more elbow pain with both elbow in and elbow out. I felt with both I was putting more strain trying to get my arm up to speed.
What I do now and it seems to keep...
What other discs would a nuke ss compare to?
I've only thrown a nuke once. I found an os in the woods once and on the next hole I threw in into water. So I haven't gotten a good gauge on them.
Thank you mark. I started her with a zephyr and a birdie for sake of comfort in the hand. Also with nationals on the fall she doesn't want to mess with her throwing form right now.
I noticed the hyzer release pretty quickly. I had her throw my beat fuse a few times for some flip and glide.
