I'm moving to Denver next month and I can't wait to get winded after playing a few holes. Last time I was in Denver I had altitude sickness the entire trip. I'm sure i'll acclimate fine, but I'm sure it'll take a while before I can do 5 courses in a day without even a rest.
I lived in Seattle for a good 7 months and N.A.D. park was awesome (still one of my favorites). Took the ferry over to Bainbridge (sp?) with beautiful views of Mt Rainier. Can't beat the experience. Great area to live in.
People today are just to uptight and sensitive. It may seem like today's world is so much worse than in the past, but its just the availability to read/see/hear about something at a moments notice. Regardless of the sport there are going to be outliers whom many people will assume is the norm...
Q: How did you get into the sport?
A: A couple of friends in high school introduced the sport to me. I'm a huge sports and outdoors guy so disc golf just worked. It was laid back yet competitive and nothing beats natural beauty.
