Sandbox course
The pros and cons of this course have been well documented on DGR and for the most part they are true. But the bottom line for me with this course is that I had a lot of fun playing it.
I was lucky enough to meet up with two great locals who showed me around the course and...
Will be there Thanksgiving weekend visiting family. Are there any clubs with anything going on there like leagues, or dubs? Any courses I should make a priority to play?
Thanks everyone for the help.
I've just taken to the 11x Aviar since I used it in my 1st tournament and it saved me A LOT of strokes. I like the gummy feel of it. But I'm still pretty new at the game so I"m pretty sure I will test out plenty of putters in my time.
There was an early thread about this disc that I tried to respond to but it was too old.
I am pretty sure I have the above disc. Its quickly become my #1 disc.

Apparently he jumped down to our division because he was tripping on mushrooms and didn't want to play in his usual intermediate division.
Despite his tripping handicap he won the division and got a nice...

All of this has been very helpful to me. Hitting up a few courses tomorrow with a buddy of mine to play and try out some of the new throws. As per a suggestion I've read around the forums I will throw all of my discs to get as many throws in as I can. But only if nobody is behind me.

Hi everyone! My name is Dennis and just as the title says I'm a new player from the Washington, DC area. Specifically Northern Virginia. I have already found this site to be a great help with finding out about courses, discs, and everything else under the sun.
I feel as though I have gotten...
