    Best Disc Manufacturer for Women

I find it highly unlikely that a disc golf volunteer (some of the nicest people associated with any sport) went out of their way to try to mess with the ladies. The TD spent an hour going through the boxes of tourney discs and the list of players, so they could find pink matching sets for each...

    putting in the wind?

I have decent luck adding a little anhyzer on putts into headwinds(sort of like a Ulibarri putt). I haven't practiced enough to get the accuracy dialed in, but the missed putts tend to dive and miss low instead of flying over and away from the basket.

[Mids] Recommend an understable mid to me

You could probably work those lines with a DX Cobra. It might take a little time to beat into straight at 240 but it will still be faster than beating up a Roc

    Best strategies/tips/playing styles

This is more for beginners and middle of the road players trying to string together consistent rounds. Lay up, lay up, lay up Don't rely on your inconsistent putting to save par because you wanted to try throwing it in from 100-150 feet out. Just layup in front of or below the basket for the...

    Has Will Schusterick peaked?

Will seems to have plateaued. I won't say peaked because he still has plenty of years left in his prime. I think he needs a friendly rival to push his game forward. It is pretty easy to see how Paul and Simon/Paul and Nate push each other. Why isn't Prodigy sticking Will and Jerm on a bus...

    Midrange As Putter?

I putted with a Firebird when I started playing. It worked pretty well sometimes, but I would blow past the basket if I missed. Lots of 2 and 3 putts. I shoot much lower scores since dropping down to an actual putter. Force yourself to use a putter if you can. The Sinus is a pretty overstable...

    Putting help

Your mileage may vary but at least give it a shot.

    Putting help

I usually miss right because my leading foot is pointed directly at the pole of the basket. When I point my foot slightly left of the basket my putts come out straighter. I point my foot almost 45 degrees further left of the basket on longer falling/step putts. Give that a shot and see if it helps.

    Discs stolen

It sucks that the "countless" people you have helped in the past can't/won't reciprocate. I can probably help if you're in the DFW area. We try to take care of our own around here. I would need to meet you though.

Distance Breakthrough has Killed My Scores

This post reminds of a quote someone accredited to Will Shusterick from some old thread a million posts ago. It went something like, "If you want to throw farther don't worry about where you're aiming" Unfortunately disc golf isn't a distance exhibition. You get penalized for inaccurate shots...

[Vs.] Teebird vs Lat 64 jade

The Teebird is a pretty advanced disc at or near max weight in newish premium plastic. It has little to no high speed turn and a strong, early fade for beginners. The Jade is light, flippy, and a little faster, so it is better for beginners moving higher in the speed range. It should fly...

Never give up on Lake Lewisville Disc Golf Park

Thanks for setting up the facebook page and working on behalf of the disc golfers in the area. I heard a rumor that the new construction crew had started working on the bike path again. I hope the rain holds off enough to give them time to finish up by hole 17. It really was a brilliant idea to...

    [Innova] which Eagle

I'll use Eagles X's and Leopard instead of Teebird or Rivals. I just like the way the eagles feels in my hand compared to the teebirds, so I justify my preference this way: Most of the Teebirds that I have thrown need to take quit a beating before I can throw them straight without the low speed...

[Recommend] Help a Beginner Purchase the Right Discs

You shouldn't have any trouble using that lineup with a good putter. Short term goals and recommendations - TL3: Try to get good with this disc for any shots outside of 200' Panther: Try to use this on any straightish shot inside of 200' Eagle: Use this when it's too windy to throw the TL3 or...
