I wanted to start this thread with a quick explanation of why I think this thread would be neat to have. This thread is not intended for people who just started throwing discs yesterday, but it's meant for us guys and gals that play a lot, but just have a blind spot in their game.
Lately I...
I have a PFN Star Beast. It's dark blue with a gold stamp. 7/10.. It's got some ink (a name and additional weight) written on the back by the original owner. PEOPLE REALLY NEED TO RELAX WITH SHARPIES. How much is it worth? :)
One time I was playing and I got frustrated with my drive, so I blindly grabbed my beat Fury (in a cross wind) and overturned it into a Harley with the rider on it sitting talking to his friend. Thankfully, he played and didn't kill me... but it was terrifying.
Could you enlighten what percent you would like? Not ignoring the tournament comment, just interested in what would be worthwhile to you to be donated.
Maybe, but I would prefer to keep this a broad subject of charities and not get into particular ones. I'm sure all of us would prefer a different charity.
I see what you're saying, but For-Profit businesses that make social differences, such as Sevenly, are becoming more and more popular. Basically it doesn't really matter why people are buying the product, it's if they are buying the product.
If you knew that you were paying 1 or 2 extra dollars for a disc, but the profit made was going directly to a charity; Would you feel more inclined to purchase one?
Would you want a custom stamp proving your support, or would you feel content knowing that you made a difference?
