fun little short course
It was fun to bring the family out for a half a round. Super easy, great intro or lesson course. Not too crowded. Some slight elevation changes but it is Illinois so not really hilly.
Not a disc golf only park although there is very little reason to be on disc golf part...

best in Chicago area
Nice and long challenging holes, some tight and some open. There is a little water. I had a great time and a high score at this course. This is not the typical Chicago pitch and put.
sort of dumpy, garbage around. Sort of swampy
Play it if you are in town.

Better than nothing
Its a great course for Chitown courses. It does pose some challenges, like a little pond and some trees.
It's a course that was added to a park that has multiple uses. For example a passing dog may decide to fetch your Frisbee or you may not be able to throw cause a soccer...

mediocre
Excellent course up to 18. moderate mix of challenges. Great course for a group of friends to spend a day playing quite long and open. Bring some water and if your out of shape what a great way to get back into it!
After 18 the course just was back and forth in a field, sort of lame...

Best I have played in Cali
The course lived up to it's hype! As usual I enjoyed the the nature; I arrived after a heavy rain and the ground was almost dry again! I had a guide for my first round and was able to play a confusion free round. What a nice mixture of heavily wooded fairways and...

Best/only in SF
I like the elevation changes and tight shots. I also love the old growth trees and well draining soil. Golden gate park can eat up a vacation easy with its huge variety of trails and venues. However his course gets most of my attention.
The crowds are pretty thick at peak times...

very nice course in the city
nice mix of short/tight and long/bomber holes with beautiful wild life. I saw some deer and met some locals, If I had more time they suggested II should play the other 2 courses in town. I had fun and nearly lost a disc or two which is always interesting.
The...

Super fun
Perfect mix of challenges. Lots of beauty. Lots of nature.I saw many deer, got swarmed by red wing black birds on hole three and observed all kinds of plant and animal species which I have never seen. this course is barefoot certified by me and my homeboy who prefer to play barefoot...

hardcore
I love gold! I like to play it alone or with friends.I like to take in that wonderful view of the world that you get on hole 1, looking out from the tee. I love the challenge. Wildlife rules this course. There is everything from bear dens, to bird nests. I like any course that I can...

Underwelming
It is a disc golf course.
Just a back and fourth around a park almost no shade trees and negligible elevation. Also since fairways lack any separation you may bean someone in the head with your disc while attempting to play a round.
Drive the extra half hour to a different course.

nice course
Good open fairways, kept up by the county parks dept. Some tight fairways.
Minimal elevation changes. Loud Interstate 90 noise.
Nice to play when Heistand is busy like during Tuesday league. Nice nature conservation area.

Best of the two
Nice mix of long, short, elevation, touch shots and narrowing/ low ceiling/ dogleg fairways. worth the money! you should play this course first, as it is the best. Super fun atmosphere, great locals and great nature scape.
One of my top 10 nation wide no complaints.

Some road crossing confusion half way through but no problem thanks to the locals!

A must play destination
Had a blast! The locals are great. Squirrels are black, which is something I have never seen before. Gorgeous fairways laid out with nature appreciation in mind. Elevation changes like crazy. Super cozy atmosphere.
Not many long holes.

Hard core disc golfers only
So chill!! We played this course at the end of the day and had a blast. Fair ways: Long, short, up, down, major risk/rewards. Rough wilderness feeling. The blankets of fern, brambles, nettle poison ivy give this course a certain charm. The trails are the king where...
