Innova explains this by saying you can only compare flight ratings of discs with the same speed ratings, so according to them you can't compare the Valkyrie (Spd 9) and Viper (Spd 6). It sure would be helpful if you COULD compare all flight ratings across speeds...

I just started playing DG recently, and I've been trying to find out info on the rating system used for Innova discs, and three of the numbers I think I understand.

An idea for uploading of other users scores would be to implement a pin that's only for mobile score uploads. This would require a site and app rewrite, but would prevent spamming and the possibility of leaking of other users passwords.
