    saucer golf target

I learned to play disc golf at that course. My first ace was on a saucer basket at Hansen park too. I wouldn't trade chain baskets for saucers, but I do have a bit of a soft spot for those things. They're certainly unforgiving of poor putts, but they're more likely to stop a shot dead that would...

    Exposing OAT

You should be able to do that too, but with a lot of discs that will actually mean slight hyzer. If you're trying to simply prove that you have OAT problems, sure - try to throw flat with very little power and see what happens. If you're trying to CORRECT your OAT problems (which I desperately...

    Please help fix my drive

Don't force this too much. Your body positions / pull line will not be identical to anyone else - everyone is shaped differently. There's a fine line between awkward and damaging. If you're experiencing pain or discomfort in your shoulder/elbow, stop throwing that way before you wreck yourself...

    New Pro D Plastic

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I feel like it breaks in the way Elite X does too, which is not a good thing. The rubbery D plastic was money. I'd rather buy more and have the discs slowly wear than have a flippier disc that lasts longer.

    New Pro D Plastic

Anyone else hate this new Pro D plastic that's been hitting stores? My opinions so far: It seems more durable and less prone to warping after hitting trees The discs I've seen tend to be domier on average (but the stacks might have just been picked over) The Buzzz I've been throwing broke in...

    Please help fix my drive

"Wobblie stuff" does not equal OAT. OAT is generally rolling your wrist over when you throw, but can occur a few different ways. As for your original post, everything you're describing suggests to me that you're trying too hard / too tense / strong-arming / etc. Get your weight forward...

    Gripping putts

Index finger resting across bottom of rim, contact against the side of its first knuckle. The rest of the finger just sort of hangs there - I don't hook it around onto the inside of the rim. I fan the rest of my fingers out under the middle of the flight plate to get finger spring. ...because...

That's a great trophy idea. Kudos to whoever made them, and congrats for making the cut.

Well, yes, that's one way to put it. =)

top power level and a disc's behavior

I was under the impression that it was kind of common (but not necessarily at that distance). Here's the thread (unless there's another one I don't know about). JR & JHern get all tech., and then it devolves into a strange Scandinavia vs. Finland thing. =)...

Recommend me an approach disc (straight/slight anny shots)

An Aviar, Wizard, or Ion would do what you're asking, but your Supersoft Omega should too. You didn't actually say what the problem was. Are you coming up short? Throwing too long? Can't "range" the shots so you're always either short OR long? Not turning the disc or is it hyzering out early...

    The "Incomplete" Secret Technique

If you're concentrating on the weight shift, and closing your hips properly, the disc will come in close to your right side/pec/etc. before you open to your target and leverage the disc out and away from you. Hold a disc at the middle of your chest, elbow bent, like you're halfway through a...

    The "Incomplete" Secret Technique

I'll send a PM regarding a few of those things and help as best I can. As for the other questions relating to the hammer pound - I'm pretty sure the hammer pound is happening at more like "Frame 3.5 or 3.75". Frame 3 is basically the right pec drill and the position you will begin REALLY...

Video clips by jr, lcgm8, mafa and others

JR, do you happen to have high-speed footage of Feldberg's putt on #11, Scandinavian Open? Even a side angle would be better than the rear angle shown in lcgm8's Youtube video. I believe him when he says the putt was legal, I just want to see the timing of Dave's walk-through & release.
