Finally got to throw the one I dyed today, 175 orange opaque champ with a bit of dome, and heavens almighty, what do I do with this thing. I’ve never seen such a beautiful flight. I’d give it a 7 5 -.5 2.5 right out of the box, and it takes a full powered throw and just drifts a teeny bit and...
I have not ☹️ Work and thunderstorms have kept me inside past couple days. I was able to put a bantha skull stencil on one of the orange ones today though so there’s that 🤪
The flattest is the clear one, but not crazy flat, is like a 3.5-4 on the OTB stiffness scale, also the only one penned “EG” instead of “E” on the bottom
Wine-colored is prb a 5 stiffness, has a neutral dome
Orange is most opaque, same neutral dome, pretty stiff
I got some F2 Champs off of Innova pro shop expecting the same JL-ish plastic that Eagles have come in recently, instead they’re all penned and almost opaque. Anyone know when and where these are from? Wonder if they found these on the back of a shelf somewhere and loaded them onto the site 🤪...
Roc3s are the only mid I carry now and I actually get kinda excited when I get to flick one of them. They actually feel pretty comfortable in the hand with just a little baby adjustment to my grip, and often when I go to flick one I’m in a slightly compromised position. The great thing about...
Man I’ve been throwing the 2021 Calvin for about a week now, and I am loving it. The other regular Halo I’ve thrown is max weight and pretty beefy, and a couple of the F2s I’ve thrown are 170-172 and even more OS than my max weight, but the Halo Calvins are the most workable halos I’ve thrown...
I’ll say of all the putters I’ve tried, of which there are SEVERAL, the things that stands out the most to me is the glide, which for me personally is right in the sweet spot. I don’t have to power it up to get to the basket but I never feel like it’s going to sail on me. Same goes for...
It took me a year and a half to try out BB Aviars, and at this point I’m digging my heels in with them bc I know that for me they check every box for feel, stability, and glide, they’re just right for every duty off the tee to up in the circle. If KCs feel too slick I’ll go to JKs and if those...
OS 7 speeds are in my personal pantheon of slots that are fun to mess with yet never are essential to my game. I’ve tried my darndest to keep an F1 and an EXP-X in my bag at various points, my thought being that they cut through the air a little better than a Gator and are more shapeable than a...
I appreciate all the info! It’s been windy and I’ve only given it a few tosses so far so I haven’t really gotten an excellent impression of its flight, but either way, just what you said is why I’m loving PDs. I love Firebirds and I really like Thunderbirds, but I’m not super into flicking them...
The Xcaliber I threw wasn’t beat to smithereens, but did have a few road rash marks, def had been around the block once or twice, if I had to guess I’d say it spent a few months in someone’s bag. Either way, there’s like this 7% less flip it seems to get than a beat War Horse on an anny flick...
The inner rim seems perpendicular, doesn’t feel weird at all. It’s also 170g, I know sometimes with a lot of discs the weight affects how the discs come out, not sure if +\- 5 grams from max weight affected many runs or not.
Nice! Thanks for the input, it’s def pearly, not the stiffest disc ever tho, does have some give, that’s what kept me from thinking it may be a third run from what I’ve read.
