I wish my Amps were just slightly more flippy. As for Volts, the Neutrons I've tried have been just like Amps, except a little more susceptible to OAT. My Proton Volts have been nice and stable. I doubt I'll buy another N Volt.
I mostly use skill shots for a temporary course I've designed at my local FOP lodge. Like was said, the depth of the basket portion isn't the best, but the thing surprised me at its disc catching ability. I got most of them used from GGGT for about $105 shipped each. ($90+$15 shipping...
For me, the two discs are quite similar. But it seems the Atlas is a little less likely for me to torque over, which may be what knocks the tangent (sparkle eclipse) out of my bag. I think the glide is similar if not a touch better on the Atlas. And yes, if I throw it with a little hyper, it...
Are the protons normally flatter than the neutrons? I just got a P and its much flatter than either of my N's. is that part of the molding producing the higher PLH? I haven't had a chance to toss it yet, but I'm almost imagining it will be much more stable than my N's. I hope it doesn't have...
I just got my first Prodigy disc (an F1) yesterday. It seems to have a pretty extreme flash on it. Though it also kind of looks like it was meant to be a micro bead. Any input on this? With the shape of where the outer wing meet the inner rim, it almost looks like it wouldn't be right if I...
I tried the Renegade again yesterday, and started throwing it side by side with my purple/grey swirl GL Flow. This time it seemed the Renegade flew very similar to my Flow, but with a little less glide. This time the winds were a little slower, though still present.
That's hard to gauge that, when Rivers are so inconsistent in stability between runs. Though I think most Rivers I've had have had more LSS than my Fury's seem to have.
I'm disappointed in the Renegade. I wanted it to be a disc that was a slightly less stable Flow. I had heard it was more understable than that. I haven't had a chance to throw it in calm conditions yet. In a headwind, it was super flippy, which made sense if its a little understable to begin...
I've found my two Lucid Escapes fly about the same as my BioFuzion Escape. The Bio might be just a hair more stable, but not much. I like the Escape a lot, but I doubt it will make my bag since it really is trying to take the place of my PD's. And my PD's are still a little longer and more...
The Trident and XXX have very blunt noses, and don't cut through the air as well as most other discs of the same rim width, making them slower. Also, they are quite overstable, and don't fly as far due to that as well. They are like wider rimmed fairway drivers, so to speak.
