    wolfhaley goes to Oregon 2024

My plan was to explore Stub Stewart and then head to Buxton, but I sat in traffic with all of the people heading out to watch the ships come up river for the Rose Festival and just ran out of time.

    wolfhaley goes to Oregon 2024

Breaking news... I played the 18 hole course at Stub Stewart and absolutely loved it. Excellent layout and design. Lots of wooded puzzles to figure out. I think the reviews are all for the three hole course, but I could be just struggling with viewing it on my phone.

Taking the Oregon Trail (without the cholera I hope)

Sorry for the lack of updates. Busy days and a nagging cold have put a crimp in my correspondence. We hit Salt Lake City on a blazing hot day, but we still managed to play a few holes with my father-in-law at the Davis Technical College course in Kaysville. Nice course, making use of the...

Taking the Oregon Trail (without the cholera I hope)

Update so far... We got a decent start on Friday. I dropped Robin off at school so she could do her end of year checkout, and I went to get a few holes in at Idlewild before we got underway. Turned out to be a good decision as the bands of thunderstorms and traffic around Louisville made the...

[MVP] MVP Disc Sports (Part VI)

Actually going to give the Virus an audition for my bag. I borrowed one for a few throws last weekend and thought it worth at least a little further trial.

So, how did you play today? Part II

Fun time last weekend. We had a four man field for the MA60s at a two day tournament playing Lapping Park and Seviren Lang. I started off -3 on the short track at Lapping before a three putt from 15' and a faceplant in a muddy lie got stuck in my brain for a few holes. I managed to get it back...

    OTB Open

Tried watching it a few times, but fell asleep. Even "count the roller" got boring after the fifth one in two holes. Can't believe they picked this track for next year's Champions Cup. I can't even work up any excitement about top 10 finishes for Madison, Paige P, and Hanna.

    2025 Champions Cup in Stockton?

I did enjoy Sprinkle Valley, so maybe that will return as a Elite Series location. I don't have a problem with the Champions Cup being in California, but I really wish they'd have found a woods course. That's what makes the Champions Cup special and my guess is that one of two things will...

    2025 Champions Cup in Stockton?

The dates on the PDGA website are May 1-4. Not sure if those are firm dates at this point.

    2025 Champions Cup in Stockton?

This dropped on social media yesterday. Multiple players responded negatively to the event being staged in a park course.

    2024 DGPT - Copenhagen Open

It will be interesting lead and chase cards for both the MPO and FPO, although the FPO looks like a three way race. It will still be fun to see if Jenni can hold off the challengers and finish top 5 or perhaps even move up onto the podium. Any of the top 15 MPO could take the win tomorrow, so it...
