Ive been playing Disc Golf for about a year now. Since ive been playing this sport I knew I would face everyday challenges. Right then and there i knew this would be a on going activity. Quickly became very addicting. A little about how I started playing this sport. From the beginning i started throwing right hand forehands. That was my immediate comfort zone. Down the line right hand backhands came into place. Now, I throw eather way comfortably. Within 2 weeks of Disc Golfing i immediately played local & weekly/monthly tournaments as well as out of town courses/tourneys. Ive set goals to improve and little by little that came into place. I also made my way up to playing 5 Central Valley Series tournaments in 2013 & won several times in my division. That is probably the best experience yet. My next goal is to become a PDGA member. Recently I achieved that goal in October 2013 (PDGA#61596). This is the first time to have a PDGA#. My next goals are to build up my ratings, attend sanctioned/non sanctioned tournaments, play smarter, work on my putts. All in all i am having a really great time playing this awesome sport. I play as much as I can when I can. Lol, When im not playing im watching live Disc Golf footage or videos on youtube. So far so good & impressed with our local Disc Golf scene. Currently sporting the Grip A-Series (Black/Grey) & (Custom Maroon/Grey) Ergo 2 Disc Golf Backpack & have 4 Aces- Looking forward to meeting new fello Disc Golf mates & playing more Disc Golf!
