Looks like the Mace just booted the Rocs from my bag. I like that so far the 5 I've bought have been nicely flat even in the premium plastics. I'm mostly throwing the Zero Hards though.

Yeah. My short throw is pretty spin reliant, so the fatter rim on the R+ responded well to it. The HSS was there but the LSS wasn't. I ended up with something that needed to be thrown very flat to get a good flight out of it. Minor errors on my part yielded a lot of unwanted lateral travel...
The only Roc+ I got any mileage out of was the Champy/Star Tourney stamped ones. I was attracted to them because those came out pretty flat. Compared to a Rancho they had less fade and were just slightly faster. The down side of that was that with some breaking in they just weren't workable...
I kinda dig the fact they made it a putter. No driver could live up to the name (esp. one from Gateway) so it being a putter is sort of a joke unto itself.

I work too much to get to play very often anymore. When I do play, I've locked into my current bag setup pretty well. My years of plastic whoring finally burned out and now I usually only try out a couple of new drivers a year and leave my mids and putters as is. I started lurking the board...
