I love s plastic. To me, it feels different in the driver and mid range molds than the putter. It seems to break in a little slower than other base line plastics. And, when they do break in, they fly much longer than "new" condition in my opinion. The Blurr and Illusion are great in S. I...
I have found the PD to be a pretty versatile disc. I use Orion LFs (both M and S plastic) for my control and distance drives and use the P PD for my long anhyzers. This disc has broken in to being an awesome hyzer flip disc and understable driver. I found the S PD a little more stable than an...
I have used both in my fairway spot. I currently throw a Polaris LS because I can get a little less s curve and hit the line I want without the movement. I also found the heavier Champion Leopards to have more fade at the end of the flight than the LS. My favorite Leopard was a 170g pro...
I saw today at discgolfcenter.com some "new" super light Blurrs. Does any one know if this is a retooled Blurr? I remember reading a few months back that the Blurr was going to be retooled. If so, has anyone thrown one of these and how does it compare to the original?
Thanks.
I currently putt with a Warlock and like the results. For the past 4-5 years, I used a Wizard and, like you, wanted something that had a little less fade at the end. I drive and putt with it. I have a new soft Warlock and use it for both duties. The new SS ones are far from super soft and...
I have an organic Element that I really like. It is the retooled Element, so it has a pretty neutral flight path.
The Element X is discontinued and has been replaced by the Warrior.
I think that the 1.2 MOLF is the best of both worlds: it has stability more like the S plastic and isn't near as "flippy" as the 1.1. I do like the 1.1 for open drives, but when I need to put a drive on a line and need the extra glide, the 1.2 is it.
I am just returning from another round with the PD where I threw it on three holes along side my 1.2 SOLF and need to amend my previous statement. I think that the two discs are nearly identical with the PD hitting a little more distance. It may kick the SOLF out of my bag while leaving the...
I got a freak PD yesterday (due to the love for it on another thread) and was able to get three rounds in with it. For reference, I throw OLFs as my primary control distance drivers. I do not have a huge arm (350ft), so the OLFs (S and M) have filled my needs for distance and headwind.
I...
I like the combination of control and distance I get from the OLFs. Having thrown both a teebird and orc I will reinforce what others have said:
I get more control with the OLF over the Orc. Distance is about the same for me.
As far as the Teebird, I get 20-30 ft. more distance with an MOLF...
