You could make the verticals another 1/2" taller and put a second layer of foam around one of the horizontals. Probably wouldn't matter which one. This would give you a tighter fit and more give, I would think. Thanks. Not much chance of that happening to me any time soon. :)

Guess I got lucky. I picked them up at a thrift shop; they were the only discs on the shelf. I hear you about your friend. Some people have to take the long road. It's their Constitutional right, so all a guy can really do is be patient.

Both of these racks are pretty cool. So, newbie question here: what caused the warping, yearofrolling? I'd like to avoid that if possible. Thanks, and thanks (to both of you guys) for posting your pics.

i was under the impression you throw the discs, not the bag, so what's it matter what kind of bag you use? Carry an freakin' plastic shopping bag for that matter. Although the bag in question is definitely much cooler than that. Haters are more of a detriment to growing the sport than...

My first three discs were 146g Shark, Cheetah, and Aviar, all used. The Shark is awesome for threading past a tree in the middle of the fairway, or for anhyzers. My longest shot to go in to date (less than 6 mo.) was an anhyzered Shark from about 60-70 ft. I'm pretty happy with the Shark.

edit to add: DOH! Didn't look at the date of the post. Still applies, though. And today DID bite, here.

Would have been pretty all right except for the wind. We had 20-30 degrees warmer, but snow (later rain) coming down at about 85 degrees from vertical (lot of wind). Today bit big time.

+1 to all the advice regarding looks. I know I am generalizing, but men value performance more than women do, and women value asthetics (and practicality--but this is less relevant) more than men do. Just ask your car insurance salesperson. If she is excited by the discs--graphics, tie-dyed...

Those are some rockin' bags. Thanks for the pics. I think it's great when people put forth the effort to make, instead of just buying. I was having some DG gear envy, looking through pics of various manufactured bags, but now I'm thinking along these lines.

Sword fighting: Dressing in real, functional armor and beating on each other--all friendly like, of course. Hell of a lot of fun, especially when you get into big melee battles. Far less dangerous than it sounds, too. Did that for ~12 years, traveled all over the country for tournaments and...

Thanks for the pic. It's helpful to see how other people are using the space/dividers/etc. And it's great to be able to compare real world space vs. the manufacturers' claims.
