Things I think about while I play and will go into course rating:
- Variety of shots - am I throwing a hyzer on every hole.
- Course maintanence - Is the course clean? How well marked is it? How well signed is it? Are there trashcans? Are their hypodermic needles on the basket poles?
- Is it busy? Are the locals friendly?
- Would I play it again?
Background on how I play -
I learned to play at Dela - not the most beginner friendly course. I've had a huge driver forever and can't putt at all. My up shots are good, shot selection is ok, but I rely on my huge hyzer more than betting on the gap. I'd probably hit the gap if I tried to but I'll take the lower percentage hyzer window just because I can.
On a football field, I throw RHBH close to 425 into the circle and double putt. Throw RHFH 380 with no real accuracy but 300ft into the circle.
Currently throw a mixed bag. Go to driver - Innova TeeRex
Midrange - Innova Roc3
Throwing Putter- Lat 64 Spike
Putting putter - Gateway Magic
