Whenever I play 51 it is announced before the round starts. And everyone never has any problems. When I'm playing with a new player I will just pay them knowing they don't even know what 51 is. I then teach them about the rules of the game.

Understable is a no no. If that thing flips you're going down another ski run on the right. Still in bounds but you might be better off throwing from the DZ cause saving par could easily turn into a 4 or more from over there.
