"Deep in the game" is the best instructional set Ive seen, but probably a bit technical for absolute noobs....
Best description of the game for noobs... is this here

I have a real noodle side arm. Throw the Buzzz about 70 meters (230 feet) only. Drivers dont go much further, so I use the Buzzz thinking rather be consistant as i use it for all forearm approaches (due to the narrow lip..small hands) Anything I should try as a step up?
or stick the buzz and...
Ive had a pretty rough week, was VERY pi$$ed off. Went out to a field and used my discs as "punching bags". Just chucking them as hard as i could... technique bleh, lines bleh, ... I just released pent up energy into those discs :)
I have created a putting game for myself. Dont have a basket at home, have attached an A4 size board to a tree.
Get a point for hitting the board, I have made it one point for hitting the board, no matter the distance.
My logic is adding that pressure on the close putts you should get, is just...
Wow, seems things are going really well in Germany  , and Europe in general.
Actually considering doing a lat64 order from Europe, shipping will probably be a lot cheaper than from the States
A magnet is my preffered disc anything under 60 metres. But i have pretty small hands and if that deep lip catches on my hand, the putt/approach goes horribly wrong.
What is the closest disc to a magnet with a shallower rim?
(I love my Magnets but those wildly errant shots are costly)
Mine was more the quantity. As a beginner i lost my dragon that I used for the water holes. Every time we tried to order they had no stock, when they had stock I decided to buy a whole bunch.
By the time the discs arrived in Africa I had enough confidence to use a standard disc on water holes.
I dont believe you threw that shot unless you have film or a bunch of witnesses. :D
Just read about the ski-slope courses (I take it this is one of those) , sure they can be awful to play on a windy day, sailing 200 ft past the basket. :P
From a totally different point of view : We only have 2 free courses in our city (in the same park) in Johannesburg, South Africa. Already im thinking that pay to play is the only future we have. We have essentially basketed our entire course as a pirate operation, using City parks bureacracy...
Wow, im thinking I should try and give my buzzz's some juice and see how far they go. I throw mine about 75 metres (250ft) , and I usually use them when I need a fade at the end (otherwise anything within 70 meters i go with the magnet). Suppose mentally i think of it as an approach disc, and...
I've played a beach front course but it will be about a 12 hour plane trip for you :) . And in a city here that has the nickname "the windy city" , totally different challenge. I actually lost a putter that landed up in thick some bush on a cliff, putt was from about 30 meters away. crazy :)
Quite interesting that on our site 'Internet explorer' only comes 3rd out of desktop browsers, (Safari just behind in 4th).. shows me the guys are actually pretty tech savvy, but different market perhaps (we are still very small here in SA)
