Rochester > Albany > Worcester > Nova Scotia

I just returned from a trip in that area and would highly recommend getting J-Park in there. IMO it is the best course in that area and fits into a course heavy DG trip better - very interesting land features and offers a more enjoyable round than Mine Kill (walking/undergrowth)

    Pittsburgh or Warwick NY

Thanks for all the suggestions, it looks like we've decided to check the Catskills area out. Hyzer Creek - Joralemon - Minekill - Frost Valley and finishing with anything we can squeeze out of Warwick (or have left in the tank) on a 3rd day.

    Pittsburgh or Warwick NY

I am looking to plan a weekend trip (no more than 5-6 hours from Buffalo, NY) and seemed to have narrowed it down to either Pitt or the Warwick area. Has anyone been to both of these spots and have any opinions? I've been to Pitt and know it can support a solid weekend of discin' but what about...

    75' - 100' range

If it's a casual round, I'm going for it every time. If it's a tourney, a half-hearted nose-up run that will most likely end up as a layup and I'll just steal a stroke somewhere else.

Review by ReMix in course The Land

4.00 star(s) Great piece of land for a DG course. -The course navigates mostly through the woods, but contains 2 open pond holes that change the pace and allow it to "breathe". The parts of the course through the woods contain many trees, however the fairways are defined and wide enough to comfortably throw...

    Forehand throw help

I would think this too. One thing that help correct this in my throw is to focus on keeping my palm facing up after release.

    Rock Hill, SC

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I'm going to bring the group out to Fewell Park, seems like a good place for beginners. And then see if I can stretch the trip to get a solo round in at Winthrop on Sunday. Has anyone played that course the day after the USDGC? I would expect it to be...

    Rock Hill, SC

I'm going to be visiting some friends in October down in Rock Hill, SC and would like to get out to a course or 2 while I'm down there. We'll be about 5 minutes from Winthrop University, but it looks like the USDGC will be concluding on the day I'm looking to get out (October 8th). Does anyone...
