I just returned from a trip in that area and would highly recommend getting J-Park in there. IMO it is the best course in that area and fits into a course heavy DG trip better - very interesting land features and offers a more enjoyable round than Mine Kill (walking/undergrowth)

Thanks for all the suggestions, it looks like we've decided to check the Catskills area out. Hyzer Creek - Joralemon - Minekill - Frost Valley and finishing with anything we can squeeze out of Warwick (or have left in the tank) on a 3rd day.

I am looking to plan a weekend trip (no more than 5-6 hours from Buffalo, NY) and seemed to have narrowed it down to either Pitt or the Warwick area. Has anyone been to both of these spots and have any opinions? I've been to Pitt and know it can support a solid weekend of discin' but what about...

If it's a casual round, I'm going for it every time. If it's a tourney, a half-hearted nose-up run that will most likely end up as a layup and I'll just steal a stroke somewhere else.

I would think this too. One thing that help correct this in my throw is to focus on keeping my palm facing up after release.
