Thanks I'll keep that in mind when I'm at the shop looking at discs, and ya I am looking for distance rollers.
Cobras are awesome by the way :hfive: I've rolled many, just not on purpose lol
A note on the River:
It's a great fairway for beginners, but it is pretty nose-angle-sensitive(you asked for something forgiving). It will take a bit to get the hang of it, but that fact would make it an even better choice IMO because it will help you work out kinks in your form.
Welcome to...
I love that store. There's never really anything I can't find there. Josh seems to get his hands on stuff pretty early too, don't know if he has the 2X mcpros though.
Try a max weight GL one, they tend to be more overstable. Well for me anyways. Another option I've thought about was just getting a Suspect to go with my Maces for the more OS shots.
I know people love Kings for rollers, and I plan on getting one. I just feel that I would be better off getting something a little slower just for learning purposes.
So, I have really been wanting to work on backhand rollers lately. I need help on what disc to start off with. I don't really have anything understable enough to use right now(I am proficient in sidearm so I never worried about it too much) I am a Lat/WS/DD fanboy, so I would prefer discs from...
As far as I know they don't produce Opto Maces. Maybe it was a specialty run or something. Are you sure it wasn't a pain or other Lat mid?
A beefier GL would be better for overstable duties IMO because GL seems to be more OS than they're Opto counterparts to me.(At least with most molds)
Update:
So I picked up a 180 ZH Mace and I'm loving it. It's had about a week of heavy use and it's starting to straighten out and handle some annys. It pairs nice with my GL Mace. I plan on getting a few more ZH ones and completing the cycle. I've never been so excited to get my mids down :D
I thought Teebirds don't come in pro? Anyways a DX Teebird will beat in and get real flippy on you really fast, which won't be what you're looking for based on the flight you said you wanted. I would get champ or star.
"It's not my fault they parked a car there."
"Stare at that sh*t!"
"Dude, I swear that tree just jumped right in front of my disc."
"Never touch another man's wizard!" (Inside joke)
