Running list of molds that are + rim (intentional or not)

All the + rimmed Rocs I've picked up this year have been pretty beefy, so I'm a fan. As long as they don't start making + rimmed Destrulcans.

Gotta Play Justin Trails - May 27th, 2012 - Sparta, WI

I'm keeping an eye on the weather. If it looks dry I may be heading up there with some friends from Chicago.

    Help make a better Wizard

The G9s are pretty firm. Very little to no flex in the flight plate. You can either call Dave directly at the shop to get one or feel free to hop on the second part of the group buy I started for these on DGCR. I was only going to do one but I had so many people messaging me for more of these...

    Help make a better Wizard

I asked Dave about that today and he said that's basically what the current G9i's are. The disc you got was probably a little more flexible (the G9i's are pretty firm), but it has the same components.

When did you get that white Wizard from him?

    Help make a better Wizard

I already have the same thread going on DGCR, but I know there are a few of you that only post here. I want to get everyone's opinion on this so I am going to repost this here to hear your opinions. ------------- I spoke with Dave at Gateway tonight to get ready to place another G9 order. He...

    Most overstable disc you've thrown?

Just make sure you get a nice stiff, flat Firebird. There was a run of flat glow Firebirds last spring that were beef, but the later runs were domey. A buddy of mine just picked up three champ Firebirds at a tourney in Wisconsin and they are very flat and super overstable as well. Nothing...

    Upshots

I ran into the same problem when I started really hitting drives last fall. I used to throw great nose up stall shots for upshots that were always money, and I lost the ability to do that when I finally learned to throw far. I spent a significant amount of time working on upshots in the field...

An Efficient Killer - The Pred Thread

Man, you must be really kind to your discs! I cycle Z Predators in my bag, and my oldest one currently in the bag is from 2008. It is definitely not useful into any head wind unless you want a turnover drive. I love it for its predictable turn and straight finish, however. The Predator I added...

Snow in Rancho Cucamonga? (Innova Blizzard Technology)

I read that too, but that was for discs that didn't seem to have any bubbles showing. This one had the entire flight plate and rim covered in tiny bubbles. Also my 150g blizzard Destroyer scales in exactly at 150. Also tons of bubbles in the flight plate.

Snow in Rancho Cucamonga? (Innova Blizzard Technology)

I believe it. The 154g Blizzard Destroyer I tried throwing a few weeks ago was definitely more HSS than my new 175g Echo Star poppy top Destroyer. Flew awesome.

Hottest discs out when you started playing

I started playing sometime around 2001 and back then the Valkyrie was the hot new disc, but I didn't know any better or care enough at the time. I do remember when the Beast came out in 2003. It was a big deal. I had to get myself one, and that was the first new disc I ever bought.
