Soon after the Niagara Region Disc Golf club installed a second course at Chestnut Ridge park, it came under fire from a local resident concerned that the course might cause erosion and undue traffic around an area he enjoys hiking at.

You could, (people have brought up Mechanix gloves) but the preferred method seems to be a bare throwing hand, kept pocketed with a handwarmer or two at all times you're not throwing. Wear a heavy glove on your off hand and use that one for picking up discs.

I play more during Buffalo winters, lake effect and all, simply because I have a lot more free time then.
It's just as fun as summer, if not more. No bugs, no leaves, and no crowds on the course.
