If it's not windy I like the Lat64 Fuse for anything but pure hyzers, as it tends to flip up and go long. It took the title from my Buzzz because it's more shapable and easier to power down on. I still carry and use the Buzzz, but it plays more of a secondary role now.
Looks like Simon is figuring out those MVP discs. Best score of the day and the only one with no bogies. Quite impressive first outing for a whole new bag.

It's a course...in the hill country...
-Rubber tee pads were fine. A couple were slightly uneven, but still easily usable. I could see a problem if they got wet though.
-There were some fun downhill shots, but nothing too crazy. There was about an equal number of uphill shots as downhill.

I used to throw the Heat, but after losing my 3rd one, I decided it was an sign. I had some amazing shots with it, but it was just too finicky. I could hyzer-flip it to flex for an amazing shot or with one slight breeze or 2 degree off on hyzer angle it could turn into a turn-over into the...
That plastic has gotta be better than 12x Champ Teebirds. I had one for about 5 years. It turned into a hyzer-flip to straight disc, which was great, but then the entire flight plate shattered with one too many tree hits. It was a sad day and I still don't have a disc that flies like that...
Why is that? Not stable enough? I've never thrown one, but I love G-Star Teebirds and Destroyers. The G-Star plastic basically makes it like they're pre-beat-in, or maybe 0 turn 1 fade for Teebird and -1 turn 2 fade for Destroyer.
I've only just heard about Lone Star. Do they press their own discs? Does Disc Nation sell their discs? I have a Mint Alpha, which is from Austin, but I think Mint has another company press their discs.
It's been pretty windy in Texas these last few weeks and my 164g G-Star Destroyer is just not cutting it. I bought it in this weight and plastic-type to purposely be a bit more understable and workable, and in wind less than 10 mph it's great. But with 15 mph headwinds it is turning over with a...
I must have got some super weird Terns then. I bought a couple Pro Terns about a year ago and they have no glide at all. They have a slight turn at the beginning/mid but then dump hard on the fade. Their distance is substantially shorter than my proto Hades or really any other distance driver...
I really don't have any complaints. There are more courses than ever. Discs fly further than they ever have. There's more options for discs than just Innova and Discraft. It's really the golden age of disc golf.
The Zone and Pig overlap too much for me to bag both. I used to throw the Pig, but switched to the Zone because the lower profile made it easier for me to forehand.
I love this disc. I've been trying to find a disc with this stability and speed for the longest time- basically a long bomber that I can release on hyzer without fear of it completely turning over and not coming back. I can't count how many understable high speed drivers I've lost because they...
