EPIC! Best course in the world!
Phenomenal! Stunningly beautiful course, great shot variety required (mix of par 3s, 4s, 5s). Tops of elevation change. Mix of open and tight holes. Clean fairways, well maintained, great flow.
Pro shop, gracious hosts, good facilities.

Ditto. Thunderbirds are amazing water discs... I throw them on water shots when I don't want to risk a Teebird. and so far, no Thunderbirds have gone swimming. Consistent and affordable--exactly what you want in a water disc.
I second the suggestion to find a field--preferably one with a few things in it to use as targets--trash cans, trees, benches, whatever...
Take 4-6 discs. Putter, mid(s), hyzer driver and fairway driver(s)... don't measure off distance before throwing--measure off after throwing. Throw all the...
I'm still testing a ThBird to see if/when it outpaces my Teebirds.
In a field, I've been surprised that the ThBird is generally right in the same space as my Teebirds... maybe 10-20' further, but not enough to make it worth the extra mold... I think I need to get some lighter ThBirds for...
245 total played... I've lived most of my time playing disc golf in TX (75) and VA (33), but it's right on the MD border, so add another (11) to that...

Depends on where I'm going and how much DG I'm going to get to play. Usually I only carry 2-5 discs when I travel.
And I always carry backups, never my favorite discs.... there is nothing like losing a favorite disc a thousand miles from home. Feels more hopeless somehow.
2-5 discs is quick...
Yep... having backups is what keeps my bag pretty consistent. Gateway putters, Discraft mids, Innova drivers. Backups for everything and no longer play often enough to cycle new molds into the bag. If you played with me 10 years ago, not much has changed. And I still have just as much fun on the...
Don't rush out and buy a bunch of discs... find a friend who's been playing longer (or make a new friend), and take a stack of discs to a field and see what works for you. But don't just base it on what goes the farthest--base it on what goes well and is controllable.

Broken PDGA ratings formula
It's an inherent part of the brokenness of PDGA ratings. I used to fight with Chuck Kennedy over math back on the PDGA forums years ago. PDGA ratings treat every stroke as linear, and that's not how strokes work.
Theoretically, the lowest possible score on any...
I had three from when they first came out, maybe a decade ago. I'm down to just one, and it's my favorite mid. Time to restock.
If someone has several FLX Buzzzes they no longer need, LMK. These will be for throwing, so pretty much any stage of wear is fine as long as it's not totally wrecked...
Digging through the closet and have a few discs I'm deciding to sell or throw... have no idea what any of these are worth. Appreciate any help...
First Run and Prototype DX Valkyries... I think these are all near max weight and 9/10... box wear.
Hero Discs Ontario Rocs... these are all...
Yeah, no release date yet. I talked to DD today and they didn't have a timeline yet to share publicly. Guesses I've seen are $40-$50 for the bag, which seems about right since it appears to be positioned below the Sniper in the lineup.
Looks like it will be a good third choice in the...
Probably because it's a slippery slope... if you count Masters, do you also count GMs, Legends, etc? There are plenty of people who are world champions many times over in age-protected divisions who will never have their name on a disc.
WPO is an easier line to draw. Virtually every sport has...
