I don't read 809.02(B)(2) that way. 809.02(B)(1) requires group agreement. That's the "save time" provision. But 809.02(B)(2) allows a set of provisional throws when "a player in the group" wishes to appeal a group decision to an official. Reads as singular to me.
My main takeaway from...
On the website it says that cable has been laid on the course. Given the huge dollars spent on this course I assume it means it is literally wired up for cameras and ready for broadcasting.
Local friend just got back from there and couldn't stop talking about how it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. He's been around the block, it must be really good.
We've got a local pro now 40 or 41 y/o who been consistently 1000-1015 rated over the last 20 years. He says that he's probably lost 50-75' over the years. And I think he's able to throw 425'-ish these days. So a 10-15% loss for him roughly.
And then you have my data point . . . 20 years ago...
I used him on my fantasy team most weeks since the middle of last year. This year he was pretty much top 10 every event. 4th at Idlewild. He's good in the woods. He's got that Drew Gibson "I can throw midranges far through the woods" thing going on.

Also while we're complaining about Ebay . . . twice in the past year I bought discs at a good price, had the seller generate a USPS tracking number . . . and the disc was never actually dropped at the post office. Both times the sellers were essentially non-communicative...
Minimum I do is stretch for a couple minutes. If I have time I'll toss 4-8 putts, assuming I make most I'm good. If I still have time I'll throw 3-4 backhand and 3-4 forehands. Ideally into a net so I don't have to chase them down.
Pulled up to club league this week, traffic was bad, guys...
Couldn't agree more personally. They decided it was time to cash in but I think they built the walls too soon. I could see it becoming a niche event in short order as it disappears from the mindspace of those who aren't super hardcore viewers. My 13 y/o already often jokes that it's too bad...
Just curious if anyone has any everyday activity drills that they think help with backhand aim?
For example, for forehand it's playing fetch with my dog . . . everyday I take my dog outside to play fetch while I warm up with some putts . . . and I aim the lacrosse ball he chases at very small...
I'm not a fan of Earhardt's commentary but I thought he was pretty decent on Jomez.
I think he won me over with his reply to Koling . . . "Have you ever seen anything as easy as Isaac Robinson putting from 30'?" and Brian said "velcro shoes." That made me laugh more than it should.
From the disc approval form . . .
"Scan the approved disc list making sure your proposed disc name is not too similar to a previously approved disc name. The PDGA does not referee name conflicts. Please resolve any naming issues with the previously approved manufacturer before your new disc...
We played Hornets Nest, Bradford, Reedy Creek & Kilborne. And that is actually the order in which I would rank them. They are all good and worthwhile.
Since you mentioned tired knees I'll just say my son's favorite course from the whole trip (which also included Winthrop & Nevin & Renny &...
Forget the pedantics and semantics, this is how it works . . .
Heart: OK guys, these putts have given us a lot of trouble in the past, uh… do we need this putt or can we just lay it up?
Brain: Uhh, I think we might need this one. We could still be in position to cash.
Heart: OK, uhh well...
We just played Flip City a few weeks ago. Great experience. Wish we could have gotten up to the Ludington area but it was a family vacation, not a dg trip so we just hit a course a day.
If you're driving from Grand Rapids to Flip City . . . we also played Henderson Lake and Whitehall. Those...
