Lovely up on the Mountain!
Adventure course only 45 minutes from La Canada. $10 Ski Lift ride to the mountain top lodge with food and drinks....and the super fun disc golf course. Length and variety over mountain terrain. A good workout at ~8000'.
Only open weekends. The new tee areas could...
I spoke with the folks at Mt. Waterman and can confirm that they will indeed be open weekends for the next few months (until...snow appears?).
The course (at just under 8000') is really fun and the ski lift ride to get up there is fun and the beer served at the Lodge is fun.........and cold...

Good course next door now
In the mountains - Rich is a nice guy and that small club is pretty cool if you are a skier.
Object course with tough tees over tough terrain. This ravine bottom course does not compare favorably with the new course up on top of the mountain at Waterman - right next door.

Zfreeman, Best in state that I have played = Whistler's Bend, Hornings (the big one up past the trout pond), Pier Park and Adair. Best of these that is close to you in Junction City? Adair and I like Willamette that is south of Corvallis too.

Car camping at the Yurt at Whistler's is a good...
That is funny because Billings is an instructional story for disc golf. What happened (if I recall my talk with a MT player accurately) is that some player were rude as they played through a wedding at the park. Some disc golfers feel that someone should not be allowed to have a function in...

Jtreadwell is right - the argument that public servants should make good use of private donations in developing recreational opportunities for their citizens is one that should have traction in these times of declining Park and Rec budgets.
Super that he found a private...

Bryant - the park in Albany down near the river? Might have improved since I played it last year (difficult to navigate newer holes - flattish park kind of felt a bit like a bowl). Hey - the disc golf clubs around there are great and they have two super courses there north and south of...
too late with two cents :)
Sorry to chime in late but here goes.....
First - you are going to have the best time EVER I predict. I am a fan of staying where it is working for me so I guess I would vote for less courses and more rounds at the great ones. I only know the Roseburg and north...
