    [Dynamic] Shorter Truth

So I've tried out the Compass. It's not bad. It's actually a little more stable than I thought it'd be with a harder fade. I'm actually testing out the Ghost/Gauge combo, too. They feel nothing like the Truths and Verdicts; more dome and the Ghost has a bead. But it's not bothering me too...

    [Dynamic] Shorter Truth

^^^^^This is good advice. But as someone mentioned earlier, the Truth has more of a dump fade when not powered up. I find I can't control it as well at lower speeds.

    [Dynamic] Shorter Truth

I'm not flipping the Truths, they're just going too long. I have a Suspect, which I love, for approaches. Sounds like a few of you agree that the Compass may be the right choice. I have one in Opto I've only tossed a few times. Doesn't feel as good in the hand as my Truth but if it performs, I...

    [Dynamic] Shorter Truth

Aren't those both putt/approach rather than mids?

    [Dynamic] Shorter Truth

I've been throwing a Truth for over a year now. I really like it but it's just to long for me. It's too close to fairway distance and I need to disc back. I love flat discs with slightly shallower rims so the Truth feels great in my hand. What's something similar that's a slower, shorter midrange?

    Putting Weight Shift

Wow. Thanks, everyone. Great advice. I'm heading out to play later today. Hopefully I'll be able to make some positive changes.

    Putting Weight Shift

Hello, all. I've been playing for quite awhile. Much too long, in fact, to be as mediocre as I am. My main weakness is putting, which is where I'm looking for advice. I've watched a lot of videos and read a lot of articles but there's something I'm still not quite clear on. I'm pretty much a...

    [Question] Fixing Warped Plastic

Hello, all. Yesterday I received several Legacy discs I'd ordered. I dunno whether it's because they were crammed tightly into the packaging or what, but two of them are warped. A Clutch and a Clozer, both in Icon plastic, just aren't totally, you know...circular. Is there any way to fix this...

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

Interesting. What's the method? I tried flexing it back but it wouldn't ever go. It always stayed at least slightly curved. And the creases where it bent got white and weak from repeated attempts to flex it back to normal.

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

I certainly don't have the supersonic arm mentioned later but I have ruined DX Rocs in one throw from the tee. On three separate occasions I've hit a tree about ten feet from the pad at full speed and turned the Roc into an instant taco. That can't be such an infrequent occurrence that no one...

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

Well, it's lovely to see how many people are still working with these critters. After reading everything, I have to say my only real complaint about cycling Rocs is the lack of premium plastic. Not only do I love the feel of the good stuff - especially from DD and Lat64 - but I've destroyed a...

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

I tried Ghosts but they were just too deep. Never felt like I got a good grip. But I have small hands.

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

The Dynamic Discs Truth is also a straight mid that feels more like a FW driver. Very flat top, very fast.

[Mids] Does Anyone Still Cycle Rocs?

Good question. Mainly because the wooded courses are so hard on base plastic. I usually drift back toward premium because it holds up so much better.
