Wow, that might be an indictment of my loss of arm speed...I find the 1.7 SOLF to have a worn predator flight, but about 20-25' longer. Even the 168 I just picked up is a tick on the overstable side. I imagine they will wear in perfectly, going off past experiences with the OLF years ago.
Whittling my way through the season...lots of 'bring it back' decisions being made. Highlighted revisions, mainly to familiar old molds that I have previously used.
Distance drivers - lots of changes here
174 TP Giant, newish - wind fighter for distance, will occasional throw a forehand with...
I've noticed the same thing with my nebula aura pathfinder. I'm hoping that it's just the 'new-ness' wearing off and it will stay in this spot for a long time.
I've been carrying my Legend most of this year, and I will say that having more putter capacity and having a 'wider spread' of discs that I like to cycle is certainly nice. Definitely makes me glad I'm using a larger bag
I'm pretty ingrained in the "throw the slowest disc you can comfortably reach your landing zone with" mentality.
As I've lost a bit of distance, a speed 7 has become more of a need to maintain that mindset. Where I was consistently throwing mids out to 325' a few years ago, now I'm almost...
Just from a quick query - Marshall St was the only one I found online that carries Squatch bags. I know quite a few brick/mortar do as well, they are available locally in store.
Also, I think the cicada is now my favorite driver ever. Need to pick a few up in different plastics to compare to the FR Z I have. It's incredibly versatile and pretty much the only driver I'm reaching for in the woods. The glide is also pretty ridiculous for a speed 7
Agree on that - the hornet was like a speed 5 fresh z wasp.
I'll probably get a swarm to try out - though it's not likely to bump anything from my bag (unless it's the perfect 'in between' of a quake and breaker)
They already have the zone, zone OS, and zone GT though? Which would be more what your describing? The buzzz OS is kinda garbage though, so this probably would be a good addition
Anyone seen or been able to throw the Swarm?
It looks almost identical in profile to the Quake, but with the Breaker or Ringer GT top. Maybe a slightly lower glide quake?
that's wildly different than my experience with them. maybe it's the swirl z, the stock ESP were basically a Force OS in my opinion. I don't throw as far as you do anymore but I can still hit 400' on occasion.
Yeah where I'm seeing the overlap is with my most understable undertaker. It's a 168 Z that's been in the bag for the better part of 6 years. It's not unpredictably flippy by any means (quite the opposite actually, very consistent flights), but the flat top first run cicada I have is only very...
