So I ended up doing something simple for a first go. I like this, but it isn’t as fancy as the fish skin type. I’ll do it again after some practice. This has hockey tape underneath to hopefully help with slipping.

Well I tried a few times today. I’ve never used 550 cord before and apparently I suck at it. I’m going to need to practice for some time until I can get that fish scale tied on. It would also help if I had one of those feeder needle things like in the video.

I am not sure yet, I haven’t had mine for too long. We shall see.

Do you recommend clear fork over woodlands?

I have around 10 Bergs and they are a game changer for me. Perfect for me to use for up shots and putts. I prefer the K3 on the berg, but on the others I like K1 the best. Also, I fell in love with the Svea. Very glidey and straight for me.

My home course is Roscoe Ewing, i like it a lot. I also play Sam Masi and I played Hudson Springs park once. Hudson was fun, but it is long and I don’t have much distance yet. I also work in Mansfield so I need to try the Woodlands for sure.
